Yeah sure. Are you related to Dracvlad in some way? He also had the habit of thinking to know more about stuff than the people who where actually there and involved.
I’m a bit late to the party for this, but this seems the case for me as well (minus the making jokes at their expense bit). Always be prepared to lose your ship to an agent if you don’t have a permit and take due precaution, but they are much less likely to pay attention to you if you display good sportsmanship and look like you’re actually playing.

As someone who thinks all mining is a bad thing to do, this is a bad thing to do. It’s just as bad as you putting a mining laser on that poor rock.

This thread proves that we need Mining Lasers that can selectively damage modules.
And anything else in their path when they pop a rock.
