This planet has a good customs office. That one I need to avoid the customs office. Where do I make these notes? Is there a place in PI so that a note pops up when the planet pops up?, aside from the Utilities Notepad? I don’t want to resort to paper and pen!
Well some do say EVE is “spreadsheets in space”, so a spreadsheet would be a good place to make notes about each planet. I started tracking mine in Google Sheets, which is free. It is not in game of course. I’ve yet to figure out exactly how to determine the customs office tax rate before I place a Command Center. Always more to learn in EVE.
I’ve seen videos with people using the Utilities Notepad, but yes, seems like there should be a better way.
I was just scouting new locations to do PI today. I set the list of stuff in the system to ALL and looked for the customs offices. Show info tells you their tax rate at the bottom of one of the tabbed pages.
This information is only temporarily needed, while you are choosing where to set up your planets.
I use an out-of-game notepad for it.
Once you have set up your planets you won’t need to look at the notes anymore.
Alternatively in the past I have used notes per planet to tell me the input materials for planets: bookmarks. You can put some text in the bookmark for the POCO.
Maybe that’s useful?
Aye. That’s precisely what I’m talking about. Thanks!
