A lot of people have been asking me for gameplay specific ideas that I would also strive to try and push into the game if elected, made a list of changes I think would benefit the game but are also achievable in a year.
Skins and other monetisation ideas
- SKINS, SKINS AND MORE SKINS
We have the designs and patterns of all subfactions in the empires (eg: kalaakiota, thukker, roden shipyards, etc) which can be quickly adopted to work on ALL ships in the game, the lore of skins is to enable ships to pass as different factions, there is no reason why these subfaction skins should be made available to all flyable ships and available on the new eden store
Extending past that, the art team is well known for producing some amazing skins, putting some of them to work on making great, sellable skins would be a key method in CCP being able to raise funds without having to increase subscription prices, if needed why not open skins out to the playerbase to submit to CCP? It can then go through a quality control check and the ones that pass through could get a small portion of the plex that was used for the sale.
- AN ALTERNATIVE TO ALTS
This would potentially need alot of dev time, however this would be a MASSIVEimply put, a new account certificate like MCT that would allow you to FINALLY log on multiple characters as a cheaper alternative to plexing alt acconuts.
- FIRST PURCHASE DISCOUNTS
A tried and true practice in the games industry and insanely simple, one time discount for the first selection each subscription duration, this can be used to bring old players back and to entice and retain more new players, I don’t think this needs any more explanation, more money for CCP, more players for EVE.
Quality of life and balance changes

Expansion of search functionality, add shortcut word links like “prop” would bring up all propulsion modules,

Improvements to the ingame fitting tool ; allow selectable implants and scripted command bursts (using the players skills) to apply to the simulated fit

No cooldown on swapping clones in an NPC station, block it by standings or double the cost, I don’t care how its done, just get it done

Allow creation of redeem queue item shortcuts, letting you put the new drugs into your ships cargo hold without taking space up which allows you to take the drugs once needed without extra clicks and having to visit another menu

Allow pre-heating of modules while cloaked

Have a long discussion about the allowing of swapping ammo/scripts while cloaked, this has large balance ramifications and disproportionately buffs minmatar and caldari ships over others so a long hard discussion on it is needed

info/skirmish faction mindlink, it is the only (non shield+armor) combination that is used in game by players, simple item addition, nuff said
Edencom, vorton weapon love

The Thunderchild right now is pretty much a joke, giving it more utility highs and a tad more damage to its weapon should be in order to bring this inline with the cost of the ship

add target priorities for the vorton weapons so they have a higher chance of hitting useful targets:
Small vortons prioritize drones, then frigates, then everything else
Mediums prioritize destroyers, then frigates (or vice-versa), then everything else
Largest prioritise cruisers, then battleships, then everything else -
Allow implants, drugs and external effects (wormhole effects and e-war) to affect vortons
They are the only turret/launcher system in the game that cannot be interacted with either positively or negatively, at the very VERY least it should be possible to produce the originally event, time limited, vorton drugs -
Make active hull tanking viable
Passive hull tanking has been here for a long time now, with citadels giving free repair services the point of hull reppers has gone out of the window, lets make manly active hull tanking a thing again, make it a low slot, give it a similar cycle time to armor reppers, dont touch the amount it reps, let the madlads loose.
Pochven (these will be unlikely to be done in a year, but lets push for it anyway)

Dockable anchorages in home systems, a centralized, high risk point situated right next to both exit/entry gates to the home systems, have a higher standings requirement to dock and allow it to be a production/refining capital for each clade with bonuses similar to (but probably just short of) citadel bonuses

CCP is currently redesigning missions, why not add some to Pochven for some high risk carebearing? You could even add specific items to the rewards which don’t (but should) drop in Pochven in order to buy…

…the remaining LP store items! the fact that we still have items in the LP store that are literally impossible to obtain constantly cements the idea that this is unfinished space to the locals every day

bring back the chaotic roaming AI to gates, Pochven used to be brutal to roam around in, nowadays without drifters and drones on the gates it is almost risk free to fly around the space if you know how to deal with gate camps, As long as the old hyperlocking NPCs does not rear its ugly head again I don’t see why this shouldn’t come back

expand or refine the current non-flashpoint anomalies so they can actually provide a decent income, right now only two sites are used for standings and the rest are basically ignored.
