I knew there had to be a list somewhere…

This is why I suggested the Alliances make the renter bears kill the drifters

I never thought I’d see the day when self-described hard EvE players would complain about destruction and adapting to circumstance.

Would it be best if players were doing this? Yes. Players, however, have in general been happily making the comfy blue donut. Consequences of inactions are a thing too.

The answer to complaints about non-consensual pve is the same as the answer to non-consensual pvp: Deal with it.

I have very mixed feelings about this.

I like that it serves as a disruption of what has become an all-too-safe NS.

But at the same time I understand the complaints of those that don’t play this game for PVE content. It is hard to fit this into the “sandbox” theme, IMO.

Finally, I’m interested to see how well this content is balanced and tested. CCP obviously released this without any testing by players, so it is going to be more prone to balancing/bug issues.

I call BS. It’s a sandbox, sure. But there are other people and other things living in that sandbox too, not just you and your little group of friends.

Sov Null has been nothing but groups of friends getting together to circle jerk and kill anyone who isn’t part of the group. It’s been a bunch of AFK VNI, Rorqs, and Carriers cranking out unbelievable amounts of free money.

You may not believe that the game is anything more than PvP. But there is indeed more to it. There are other entities in the game besides players. And now, some of those entities, are shooting you in the dick. For all the times you guys claim that non-consensual PvP is just part of the game, well here you go. Here’s some non-consensual PvE kicking over your sandcastles. It’s not anti-sandbox. It’s pro-game environment. Reminding you there’s more to Eve than just killmails.

CCP have gone full blown retarded with this “invasion”. Instead of getting rid of bots they introduce more of their own.

what you mean to say is that its contrived nonsense. Sure there are broken parts of the game - but most of this has to do with pve. VNI, rorqs and carriers are cranking out isk through pve. The answer to these broken pve mechanics is not more pve. And forcing people to grind rats that dont drop anything is a tiresome mechanic that just leads to burn out. It may be fun for some folk for a day or so, but its not an answer to anything. And sure there is more to this game then pvp - being a sandbox means that you can chart your own course - which means that if I dont want to pve I dont have to. thus far, I have ignored trigs, drifters etc. . . Its all bs nonsense as far as I am concerned. Now if I had built structures only to be forced to defend them against rats instead of players I would be pissed as hell.

And yea, ccp has been changing the nature of the game to be more friendly and more pro-pve - how has that been working out for them? We are at the lowest player numbers since 2007.

I had to make it first  .

Is he the only one ? Are the other alliances leaders also complaining ? Or is mitan complaining because he thinks drifters are controlled by Sphere ?

I don’t get how they are broken. It’s “PVE leads to PVP” in Eve.

This is Glorious! well Played CCP

Some NPC’s just like to watch the nullblocks burn.

Apollo Tyrannos “Get your Passes, only 50 Corpses”
Artemis Tyrannos “They do look Tasty”
Ranger Regiment “#$ Your’s Bot Bro”

Apollo Tyrannos “I’m glad they didn’t buy passes”
Artemis Tyrannos “The #$@ one is trying to get away”

All NPC fleets should now use combat probe scanners to find everyone who happens to be undocked.

I for one welcome our new Drifter overlords.

Ok…so, what does this mean exactly? Everything going to get wiped out in null or? Thats kinda crazy, exciting, but crazy indeed. HHHmmm, not much is being said but what is said is crazy. Yes, i see profit written all over it but kinda have mixed feelings about it. kindof a bold move though for sure

It was noted in the Trig invasion notes as a foot note.

It appears many didn’t read the whole release…

Wait till enemy corps/alliances see certain structures go it to reinforcement mode from NPC attacks…

…we’ll see massive fleets take advantage of the Drift attacks to clear out unwanted party structures.

Love to be there to see the fireworks, be a fun show.
