Drone identifiers

Knowing which drone is engaged with which activity would make life a lot easier. Currently we have:

  • icon on the left side of the drone telling the same information we have in written text on the right side of the drone
  • ability to give commands to individual drones, not only as a group
  • number of the drones engaged with target

Problem is that while drones obviously are unique to each other as they can have individual amount of sustained damage and they can be controlled individually, we can’t find out which drone is doing what.

For example, in an abyssal site, it would be very convenient if you could tell that drone A is engaging a target 50km in direction X, making it easy to send drone B to another target in opposing direction -X. This would save time from doing stupid things to more coordinated action, and make individual drone control a more complete feature than it is now.

Suggestion:

  • Use the space on the left side of the drone line in drone window for an identifier. (A, B, C..)
  • List the drone identifiers in tooltip instead of number of drones. There is enough space.
