That is what you wanted right? I guess the link does not work right.

It needs to be parsed, every item in Eve has an item ID that the game translates to something you can understand.

You’ve got a presence on Zkillboard but your recent loss isn’t showing, I don’t know if you’ve submitted an API key or if your presence if down to others with already submitted keys.

Edit, the killmail just appeared on zkill.

I just logged in and its there now!

Yeah, I logged in for a month a few years ago, another month a year after that… and now that the Rona is here I find myself with extra time and a desire to get off this planet lol.

Jeez including the implants it was like 325m total loss. That hurts my feelings.

Try getting podded with a full set of Genolution core implants because you undocked in a pod, with a criminal timer.

That hurt; at today’s prices somewhere in the region of 700 million isk.

Your astero fit is solid, that heron fit is just specifically fit to bait and kill astero. I’ve occasionally seen that, and similar, herons around, but most herons do not fit or fly like that. You just had bad luck that this was your first.

Keep up the good work protecting archeological sites from looters!

Yes, but have you ever lost 10B in a suicide gank at the height of your PvP career?

Nobody liked this post? :no_mouth:

This is the kind of thread you should like. Guy does some research, builds a ship and goes out to pvp. Gets killed, talks to the guy who killed him, comes to community and asks for help so he can learn from his mistakes and do pvp bettter.

tbh I think the responses more than compensate for the like deficit; but yeah we should.

See my post #57. I feel like that’s a better idea.

Poor Nicky is sad he doesn’t get to raid the forum trashcan today because the owners realized the apple wasn’t rotten yet and took it back into the house.

I’ve not real all of the replies, I’m lazy, but you encountered a battle Heron. Generally equiped with T2 rockets and some ancillary shield boosters (when used in WH space) Your Dual repped cap boosted Astero should with this if used right and it’s the “if used right” where he got you. He probably took out your drones and you didn’t realize it.

It takes a ton of experience and a bunch of understanding to become a good pvper, dying/failing is part of that process. The fact that you tried in the first place already means that you’re pvping.

You generally find Battle Herons in obvious locations, so like a direct WH very close to a trade hub like Jita and always sitting near the WH itself or at a planet. You don’t see too many of them though so you really just got unlucky to end up in this situation and then you lacked the experience to win. Which is to be expected.

At the very least it shows you that you don’t win by using X ship, you win by being better prepared for X situation.
