[EM] Regarding Electus Matari's alleged involvement in the Kahah Rebellion

Like any other capsuleer in high-sec, he got ganked, and the gankers got blown up. SSDD.

Personal opinion, or official?

Actually, I can just answer both.

Officially, shooting CONCORD officers would, obviously, not be inside EM RoE. Neither is it, however, EMā€™s purpose to protect CONCORD in foreign space. When EM comments or acts on crimes by other capsuleers, we consider crimes against the Tribes and/or inside Republic space. This was Uā€™K in Khanid Kingdom, so obviously out of our jurisdiction. According to preliminary reports, CONCORDā€™s interference was untypical and out of the scope of what was expected. We trust the FC on the field judged the situation and made the best decision he could at the time.

(Iā€™ll have command check that, but I am fairly certain thatā€™s how it goes. EDIT: checked and confirmed.)

Personally, it was freaking awesome and he had it coming.

You didnā€™t ask me, but I will answer.

Truth be told, from my part it was a split-second heat of the moment decision. I have on occasion defended (especially when someone I donā€™t like was in their jaws), but I think far more often criticized CONCORD on these very forums.
Ultimately, while the decision to blow up Oveg Drustā€™s Marshal wasnā€™t a fully thought out action at the moment itself, Iā€™ve found that doing so was the right thing to do, and my only regret is we didnā€™t get his pod too. Oveg Drust, who in the past several days has made appearances in Kahah, has tacitly approved the massacres perpetrated by the Khanid and the self-proclaimed blood raiders(? Iā€™m still not sure what their loyalties were supposed to be) a day earlier.

As such, he was the channeling rod of my, and while I canā€™t speak for them, likely others frustration that apparently some peopleā€™s lives have no value, and trying to help them is supposedly so criminal, the man himself decided it was okay to make the whole fleet suspect, allowing anyone who wanted to, to attack us unimpeded. This was supposedly justified so that we wouldnā€™t break any laws, but I refuse to acknowledge any judicial system that condones the murder of millions of defenceless people, but condemns any attempt to help them. There is a saying ā€œWhat is not just and fair, it can not be considered law eitherā€, and I think it fits here perfectly.

CONCORD can go ā– ā– ā– ā–  itself.

CONCORD has been firmly on the side of Khanid and all those who would massacre slaves throughout this event.

Does this surprise anyone?

Nope.

CONCORD cares only about maintaining the status quo that gives them power, their excessive defense of the Khanid massacres have proven that. If the Empires go to war with each other, or with the capsuleers, CONCORD will lose itā€™s power and relevance, and preventing that was clearly their primary goal here.

It is clear to me now that if there is ever to be a free and just life for the billions trapped in slavery, CONCORD is going to have to be defeated even before any of the guilty empires are.

I wasnā€™t sure about declaring myself a terrorist before, but I guess that is a badge I will wear with pride, now.
