If you have decent skills trained, run T1’s with a solo AF like a Retribution or Hawk or use a Worm. The money is ok if you do T1 frig sites solo. I’ve done T2 frig sites solo with a Retribution but those can get hairy
Because you run them so fast you make up the money in a few hours. I’m actually embarrassed at how much money I lost this week and I made it all up and then some running these sites. Enough to recoup 2 Rattlesnakes and a Rattlesnake BPC (I didnt lose any of that to emerging conduits). And Skin it with the Kings ransom skin. 6 sites an hour in a RS, 7 in an all skills Mach I’m sure.
Running the sites all slow and then salvaging them kills the ISK/hour. Any Decent BS or Marauder with a gank tank will excel at these sites. The main thing to consider is applicable DPS is better than raw DPS.
So yeah, theres a cheaper option, but you have to have the skills to give the ship enough EHP, and enough signature reduction and slowing to burn them down quickly. Its kind of like back in the day the drake was the ship you used to do level 4’s until you skilled into something decent, because it could tank any level 4. The ISK was slow AF but you did it anyway. Or some people liked doing it just to do it.
Most Conduit solo fits will have to be heavily modified to counter the drop in resistances/ehp after the 15th due to the resistance update (all resistance modules minus DC, RA and RIGs loose 20% of their current resistance , eg. 50% become 40%).
So solo conduit runs will be a lot harder.
especially when there are three rounds of this rebalancing. on the 15th 20% of current, then a couple months another 20% of the new resists, then end of summer another 20% reduction of those numbers to reach the final vetted rebalance numbers.
they just didnt want to do it all in one shot.
Good plan really
CCP nerfed the spawn rates and loot tables from emerging conduits back in January, so it’s really not worth doing anymore in terms of ISK / hour.
After the heavy resist nerfs on April 15, the reduced reward from this content definitely won’t be worth the increased risk.
Is that why there seems to be a conduit in every system I visit? What’s the Isk per hour people are making on these now?
I use this one without no need to warp away. I can stand all the three waves super easy and fast

I think you’re right about doing them with only one character.
2-3 char setups (I used to run 2x nestor and moved to nestor+leshak) will still be safe and lucrative, just a tad slower with the need for trading out a damage module for a resist module.
I use a Praxis. Cheap Battleship with a good selection of drones and missiles. My fit holds against all High Sec Emerging Conduits and the full fit is the same if not less than a Rattlesnake hull.

I’ve overheated my Invul once with 4 Kiki’s on the field that’s about it.
I also found that with the auto targeter my drones don’t get attacked and I don’t have to recall between spawns
I second that.
Is this fit for “Surgical Strike” meta?
Does it have enough tank?
@M_Cincinnatus
Could you share an actual Vindi fit for EC?
The one you tagged above is pretty much identical to what I use, except more tank. DC and energized explosive membrane, no mag stabs main difference.
You can experiment with gank vs tank, but after the resistance nerf, I just did an EC and got to stress test the fit when I fortunately(?) rolled one of the hardest final spawns consisting of almost all kikis, tank struggled by almost going into hull. But otherwise made it with some micromanaging and omega skills, no overheating.
I usually finish in about 10min even going tank route. I usually leave the T2 repper running and pulse the deadspace one as needed.
So when you do this in an Orca, I’m assuming you’re fighting the enemy ships with drones only? What drones do you use?

are there viable fits that an alpha clone could use for these, obviously it would be slower and less efficient than an omega, but is it doable? im thinking some sort of alpha battleship fit?

interestinng, I was a bit vague with my request as missiles and shields are not my specialty lol, however i believe I could possibly adapt that fit into something for my skillset. I had success with my first purpose fit armour maller in the abyss so maybe, using your fit as a foundation i can produce something there too. Would be nice to try soemthing thats still got some challenge for my pilot/ skills, but not quite as punishing as the abyss, should there be a moment of lag lol
Alternatively, you could fly any little missile boat in to an Emerging Conduit that is already occupied by someone who has aggro, and just piggyback off them and hit from a distance. I have been doing that in a Stealth Bomber from 60km out .
I do’em in a 700+ DPS Vagabond with 220mm and hail.
Works like a charm.
A LSB and Battery in the mid makes you sufficient tanky.
