Encounter Surveillance System projected to be a "Permanent thing"

Nice necro. I forgot this was even a thread.

Has permanent ESS been released yet? I don’t remember reading it in the patch notes.

Ok? Why should CCP compensate for your collective choice to avoid having an AU TZ presence?

Its this kind of attitude as to why I left Null, this expectation that I alarm clock on a regular basis or I am seen as ‘not contributing’ and told to go somewhere else.

Well yes, a player who wants to use an alliance’s space for farming but refuses to contribute to organized alliance activities is the definition of “parasite”. Why should you get farming space when you aren’t offering anything in return?

None of us are as dumb as all of us, yet CCP keeps pulling some half baked puddings out of the oven.

Don’t like instanced PvP? Don’t do it. Don’t like factional warfare? Don’t go to low security space. Don’t like wars? Don’t join a corporation. There’s a theme developing there, which leads down this pathway

So what is the contribution? Those ADM’s don’t raise themselves. Oh, right, its not like they really mean anything apart from some minor structure restrictions.

Still, its not worth getting bleated at by entitled NA/EU twits who wouldn’t get up for AU-TZ timers if their balls were on fire.

Don’t go to Null security space.

CCP, in the words of Ru Paul, try not to fcuk it up and maybe, just maybe, 0.0 will be worthwhile and interesting again.

Easy, though you will land at an empty space since cruiser will already be gone.

Aha, if you are awoxing then your spy alt will be yeeted out of alliance pretty damn quick. Enjoy working on another spy account.

There is, unfortunately that dude sees PVE players as trash because they resuse to feed. Why he is not a PVE trash if he refuses to feed - that´s anyones guess.

Boomers do know what the phrase means, trust me. Still say “Ok Boomer” in irony or in a sarcastic way. Your prejudice is real, though, but the joke is on you because you seem to believe “boomers” no longer understand the world they’re living in just because they are older than you. The fact that you believe they dont know this makes you the joke here.

If the thieves are just bots you should have no problem killing them and protecting your ESS.

Why can’t you see them roaming system to system, set up a gatecamp and bubble, and report them on intel channels? Plus, you have 5 minutes to defend yourself against BOTS even if they start stealing, it’s not that hard.

Man I mustve lost some Levels this season

Edit: ah crap this is from July.

If the Krabs are just bots you should have no problem killing them and looting their stuff.

Bots actually dock up the second a neutral appears in the local list. Unless you have a ship that’s able to land tackle on them in 5-6 seconds, you’re not going to catch krabbing bots.

This is also one of the big reasons why most bot hunters (like me) just tell people not to bother killing bots because it’s not worth your time and effort. Rather, you just report them to CCP and move on.

Do you honestly not understand the difference between a bot as the defender and a bot as the aggressor? A farming bot can win by docking up as soon as a non-blue name enters local, an ESS thief bot loses if it warps away from the ESS and would have to engage in PvP combat to win.

Yeah i was being ironic cause the guy said " if the roamers are bots you should be able to kill them easily"

Do you mean sarcastic?

You do get the difference between roaming bots in hostile space and local ratting bots right?
And how Scoots reply had nothing to do with roaming bots?

All bots are programmed to be risk averse, so the point remains
