ESI find rat id from rat name

Hey all,

If you have a rat id you can get its dogma attributes with this:
https://esi.evetech.net/latest/universe/types/17279
This is for Coreli Spy, a serpentis ded rat. My question is, is there a convenient endpoint for the other way around. So given the rat name string return its id.
universe/ids doesn’t seem to work with rat names. nor search because ‘entity’ category is not supported.

Probably overlooking something simple.
What am I missing?

You already tried all the available options in ESI.
API: typename to typeid - Fuzzwork Enterprises is a 3rd party API by Steve Ronuken that solves you problem.
Another option would be to use the SDE
