There’s a total solar eclipse coming August 12 that’s visible for most European locations. And quite a large number will see totality or at over 90%.
Not only is it a total eclipse, but it’s also a sunset eclipse. So, a location with unimpeded view of the horizon at sunset is needed to actually enjoy most of it. Not gonna see this every year, so might wanna clear your calendars.
The eclipse will be watchable ftom the southern end of my neck of the woods and there’s been such a craze and pandering that I’m almost wishing that it’s a cloudy day… not even overcast, just enough clouds on the western horizon to block the sun… 
Yeah, mass hysteria tends to ruin a good thing. We’re trying to pick a private spot somewhere to go to watch it. But we’ll definitely go. A sunset eclipse, I’ve never seen one and I have high expectations for it.
Aww, no eclipse in Russia. These damn sanctions have gone too far.

Yeah, we get it very very briefly and faintly in densely populated areas, except for Murmansk and kareliya which get it more fully. So about a million people get the 40% eclipse.
