Downtime is now, it moved an hour due to daylight savings time.

Not really - not everyone recognizes DST (quite possibly one of the stupidest ideas ever conceived).
It should be noted that EVE does not observe daylight savings, EVE Time is UTC all year round. Also, daylight savings, where it is observed, happens on different dates in different areas. For example, in the US then daylight savings started 9 Mar, in Europe it started on 30 Mar.

Probably because it’s dark most of the time in Iceland anyways…
Dark for 1/3 of the year (Nov-Feb), bright for another 1/3 (mid-Apr to mid-Aug, 15-24 hours of daylight each day), “normal” for remaining 1/3. Wild brightness swings, you never get used to it.
