Eve and Elite should have a baby

Elite does have this, on player-controlled Fleet Carriers. NPC station markets are directly influenced by player-supplied items as well, though it’s not a 1:1 translation.

I genuinely enjoy multiboxing. It may be a less immersive experience, but the conveniences outweigh the reduced immersion for me. I don’t see how singleboxing would provide both. Having played Elite, there’s times where I wish I could effectively multibox, or have alts in different areas of the game. There’s an incredible amount of tedium involved with the increased immersion.

I started with Elite before I came to Eve, and I stopped playing Elite because Eve has more depth to the economy and mechanics. Elite has more breadth to the explorable universe.

Mining in Elite was cool af though, sometimes I want to bring my Python out and do the laser + limpet minigame again.

Wasn’t Eve: Valkyrie kind of close to what OP is describing?

Honestly no.

If you want that experience play Elite.

If you want the EVE experience, play EVE.

We don’t need to change the entirety of the game. Simply play the other game that fits your current wants.

No boring people = no successful MMOs.

What’s your point?

Entertain me Icelanders.

EVE and Elite need to have a 3 way with No Mans Sky for planetary tech. Not sure which game would get pregnant though.

I actually like the command aspect of ship piloting.
Honestly, I think we need double down on that.

Give me an actual bridge on a larger ship with some simulated crew.

Hell, I really want Walking in Ships. If the old DUSTies didn’t need a pod to get recycled, why do we?

Because the capsuleers are the ones who make the big ISKs.
