standard has the highest damage per GJ so you should always switch to them when you are too low on cap, with 80+30 range and 575 DPS.
MF is your go-toe-to-toewith 40+30 range and 860 DPS
The one with hgiest DPS at max range (120km) should be microwave, so when ennemy is very far use microwave.
