My mom always complains about my cussing and cussing in movies. I tried to get her to watch Jo-Jo Rabbit once, and she turned it off because of cussing. I was like, “mom, this is a really good movie, and aside from a few curse words, I think you’ll like it.” And she was like, “you don’t need to have cussing to make a good movie.” And I was like, “do I need to manually edit out all the cussing in premier pro to get you to watch this movie?” She said yes.
I never did edit out the curse words.
She still hasn’t seen the movie.

I don’t mind cussing in movies, though sometimes I cringe, just like when I’m in comms but I can take it. Those are fictional characters in movies, their foul language can be found in novels as well. On comms, I overlook it because the excitement and rush bring it about, I understand.
I guess I didn’t expect it from one of your posts. I think that was the source of my knee-jerk reaction… plus the imagery it put in my head, not a pretty picture. And reading it I think it’s worse than hearing it, for me at least.
But in a thread on this forum? smh no.

And then there’s @Mike_Azariah , all time favorite, really a gem of a CSM.
I was in a system once ( I think it was in Caldari space but I do not remember exactly ) and I saw him in Local saying he was about to go and was last chance for someone to get free stuff. I got excited because I wanted to chat with him and then I realized I was looking at an old message. I may have been docked and AFK and missed him by 10min or something.
I was bummed out

Yes you are right. It’s been a while since that happened and I don’t remember exactly about it and didn’t want to write a long post on something I barely remember.
I only remember that I read a message from Mike in Local and that he was already gone when I answered him. Maybe I was in system a while and didn’t notice local ( I may have been docked ).
I will edit my post so it doesn’t induce others in error.
