I have been lurking on them and posting on different chars for years they have changed.
Look the colours are different and we now have discobot.
They aren’t Reddit, because they are a part of CCPs IP so I guess they have got to moderate but…
isn’t the downvote thing on Reddit a form of self moderation.
I was upset when a fun thread on these forums was closed, it had zizek and cat videos and gsf in it, and an op called Anti-Christ who was advocating peace in our time, because I thought it was fun even if a bit trolley, but the mods on these forums have to deal with stuff reddit mods don’t, I mean have you read these forums?
I myself opened a stupid ill thought out thread on the bonus room ffs and I like to think I have a brain- the way people on here behave as opposed to the way they behave on reddit may also have something to do with moderation here- as so many people behave like trolls because they have been trolled so much its a cycle that will take time to break if ever
but I guess the downvote thing on reddit means the community themselves keep the noise level low.
Just out of interest, if you post a thread on reddit ‘should all pvp be banned in high sec’ for instance, what would the response be?
Assume ■■■■ post and move on? Down vote? Just say ‘lol high sec doesn’t matter anyway’? Possibly all more mature and reasonable responses than the mods on here have to deal with-

I mean, who would write a long winded ‘serious’ post like this one on reddit, this post would get down voted for the low content to high word count ratio, and rightly so, and I say that as the person writing it!

I’m from a city founded by Mexicans. There are Mexicans there. They make jokes. Sometimes the jokes are about Mexicans. People even laugh. Some of those people are even Mexicans.
