Not saying it was bad, but…
Well I hope FC reads the chat.
Fixed it for you my man.
Didn’t bother watching it. Is FC steering EVE into even more of a Korean MMO grindfest?
Only thing I took away from the entire show was EvE is dying.
Cradle of Snore.
In addition to EvE is dying, Hilmar wants a book of our blood to remember the time when he had a job. Also, the time he made big bucks before leaving by selling our DNA to Google Deepmind.
Countdown to when FC implements AI slop in EVE…
The sad thing is, I don’t hate the idea of a space survival-building game heavily inspired by EVE.
But damn do I have zero confidence in the developers after that presentation. What was that?
It’s been a while since we’ve seen QuakeGod — their last post was 4 months ago.
welcome back!!
LOL
Twitch chat was hilarious, public chats in game were calling Frontier… well lots of things crypto related.
Thanks. Just from a general glance through the forum content, I haven’t missed out on much. There are still the same complaints and whines from a year ago…
So, is FC a new house, or just a fresh coat of paint atop the existing crumbling structure?
Same folks running it, along with google deepmind
Per Hilmar - CCP rebranded because the Chinese Communist Party was getting upset. Since Perl Abyss sold CCP back to CCP a rebrand was in order.
Man, I feel like not watching it was the right decision.
At this point I already expect almost nothing from FC, but I feared they could disappoint me somehow… So I skipped.
I wish I’d skipped it…
I was kind of fading by the end of the keynote today, since I was running on 1.5 hours of sleep in the previous 24 hours. I wasn’t exactly thrilled by what was shown, and based on the awkward pauses from those on stage, waiting for applause that didn’t immediately come, I’m guessing the audience wasn’t either.
Still, I’m reserving judgment until after the product keynotes tomorrow. I just wish they hadn’t spread them out so much in the schedule, as I’m -7:00 from Iceland.
I don’t think anyone was necessarily thrilled with the keynote (other than the one guy that went nuts when they announced Amarr will be behind AT22).
