Every few seconds eve stutters for about .25 seconds when i multibox 2 accounts.
It has started 3 days ago, yesterday i erased a whole bunch of stuff from my main harddrive were windows is. And the game worked fine, like normal.
But this morning its stuttering again. Windows harddive and eve harddrive have plenty of room.
Very odd thing, eve is not using my GPU at all, utilization is around 5%. I have settings hardware acceleration: display adatper GTX 1660 Super. I play other game or youtube and GPU is being used…but not by eve…
Driver is up-to date; i updated it when i noticed the first stuttering 3 days ago, no affect.
rebooted pc and its working fine… however the GPU is still not used by eve. does eve not use GPU? seems unlikely. dedicated 2/6 GB used shared .7/8GP used. weird…
PC Ram is 10.5/16GB.
My graphics are set to high, apart from texture quality to medium… im fine with the settings..as long as it does not stutter anymore…
earlier it was holding steady at 40. turned off eve, went out for an hour; came back and its shuttering again. and the fps are zigzagging from 27ish to 36ish
I was mostly looking to confirm that the integrated intel card was not being used, this year I had one person in corp and out of corp who’d plugged the HDMI cable into their integrated instead of discreet GPU.
Glad it is fixed. If only the devs seemed to care about how awful DX12 performance is
