eve launcher is only showing raw html source on white background after Windows update.

deleting the whole eve folder and reinstall don’t help. and I end up with two EVE Online entries showing up in “Apps & features” list.

after I uninstall the one of them, the other one just fail with a message saying maintenancetool.exe is missing.

how do I remove the stuck “Apps & features” , and what I need to do to start playing again.

I am running Windows 10 x64

I´ve emptied C:\Users<yourname>\AppData\Local\CCP (5,34 GB in 714.043 elements) and C:\Users<yourname>\AppData\Local\Temp to solve this issue.

But every individual data and setting was lost after doing that, except :

  • Mails
  • Fittings
  • Chatchannelhistory
  • Contacts
  • Contracts
  • Wallet Journal

This was yesterday, maybe there are more impacts. Do this at your own risk.
