Since the sale was mentioned ( leaked or hoaxed ) only on one news site. As you stated at 7:28 this is just a rumor. Since the rumor started, several blogs have regurgitated the rumor almost word for word. Easy to create a rumor, if all one needs to do, is convince one writer at the MTN site of said rumor.
PA could have started the rumor themselves just to do a few of the following;
I have been in corporate settings where the company is floundering. The weak employees will cut and run when a sale is mentioned. Others will get their exit plan but not act on it. The others will improve their work ethic greatly to avoid being let go by the new owner. Thus PA has lit the fire under CCPs ass. Later in the year, if things haven’t improved they can actually continue with the sale, otherwise they can say, “it was just a rumor and nothing more”.
Even when companies get sold, they tend to affect unfinished projects the most. Eve, as you said, is a finished and viable product. I wouldn’t expect anything to change all that much in the next few years.
All i know is I’m here at least for awhile no matter what happens.

I had to check if Iceland is in the Atlantic Ocean. I didn’t realize that Iceland itself is the boundary between the Arctic and Atlantic. It’s pretty funny that I know all the continents, but am fuzzy on the boundaries of all the oceans.
The incompetent / weak who can’t get a better job, aren’t the ones who can possible be running.
The competent can not improve their work ethics greatly.
So what you seem to mean if it is match what is realistically possible is “The strong / competent / good workers will cut and run, the worthless incompetents that can’t get another job will try look better and not get fired.”.
Unfortunately the weak employee often do find new a job, where they continue their incompetence. I have witnessed this happen far too many times. There was a manager named Rob who was dismissed for his incompetent handling of his department. Due to terms of his dismissal, the corporation agreed not to reveal anything about his employment record or termination. A month later, I spoke to him on the phone, he was working as a manager at yet another city at a slightly higher wage.
I don’t know Icelandic employment law, but in most cases here, we are not allowed to discuss employment history. I am the type of employer, who drops hints, using the tone of my voice to suggest they shouldn’t hire. However over my career, they seldom called to check references, and that is on them and the law makers.
Oh managers are all incompetent. Most of them don’t even have a job a to do and are only hired because higher management are also managers.
EDIT But yes, for managers the skill is about smooth talking other incompetent managers at other companies to get hired. They are still the strong ones leaving, but their strength is in very negative qualities.
