CCP has no idea of what there player base wants, Why because they never listen , (Thats why pearl abyss is dropping them Asap) , CCP was shown what people wanted during the casino wars, , yet they payed no attention. So CCP TITANIC. enjoy.
Calm down miner.

Pearl Abyss is looking for a buyer for CCP Games.
Was wondering the validity of this.
But they actually seem to be https://kekbur.net/industry-news/pearl-abyss-looking-to-sell-ccp-games/
Curious about the factors here. Eve actually seem to have managed to stabilize some, would seem a “Yeah ok we were idiots to purchase this, but now the loss is maximum so lets keep it” factor.
Of course this is tragic for players, any buyer will just want to milk and try get a short term ROI.
They hunted their whales to extinction.

If I was running a company, I wouldn’t listen to the small minorities that shout the loudest either.
The facts are:
- PA paid $200-$225m for CCP in 2018 with a further $200m if CCP met certain targets. They didn’t.
- CCP has only turned a profit once in the past 8 years, has burned through almost all of a $50m loan from PA and has burned through the entire $40m crypto investment for Frontier.
- PA reported a $4m loss Q1 2025. CCP is on-track to post a $10-$15m loss for 2025 and will be out of cash by Q3 2025.
Yes, this is bad. Very bad. I pointed this out months ago when PA released their Q1 report (before FanFest).
Frontier is DOA. Vanguard is too little, too late - and will probably be written off. The mobile games don’t bring enough in to keep the lights on and don’t have any long-term future.
Once news of this spreads the only sound you’ll hear breaking the deafening silence will be that of thousands of wallets snapping shut.
PLEX prices are going to soon skyrocket as players will be reluctant to invest any money in EVE while all this uncertainty hangs in the balance.
You seem to be referencing to CCP, so you get a word too much in there “either”.
Well now I have seen more prices. 160, 185, 200-225 and 450.
(Yes I am questioning your facts, and everyone elses on this, because well, at least 3 of them are wrong, 2 direct flat lies and the 160 and 185 may be a matter of using the wrong currency rate on at least one of them, or they can be the flat out lies together with at least one of the others).
There are other mentions of CCP development cost going too high and being a reason, I get a simply solution for that though. Fire everyone making the â– â– â– â– â– â– up GUI breaks!
I think your are over estimating how much Vanguard is, as well as setting a way too early release.
This might help explain some of them:
Of course do your own research, this is just a pointer in a possible direction.
I said $200-$225m because I’ve read varying articles on what the exact sale price was (anywhere from $185m to $225m).
It doesn’t really matter if it was $200m or $225m, because CCP has lost money the last 6/7 years, owes PA $50m (which will be exhausted by Q3), has burned through the $37.5-$40m crypto investment and had a major loss in Q1. CCP will probably lose another $3-$5m in Q2 2025.
