I wish I could say I was more excited about Legion. It features an alpha map that is less functional than the previous one, an alpha version of Freelance projects (which is entirely useless outside of null-sec), a 15+ billion Marauder and a 50+ billion pirate dreadnought.
The ship cruiser/logi rebalance is nice, but this is something that could’ve been released as a small patch.
The new artwork and SKINR design elements are great (no mention of the latter in the release notes) - but that’s basically it. The art team always hits it out of the ballpark, though…
I am looking forward to Freelancers, but it does require a few more things to be added to make it something beyond a scam tool. Let’s see what the future brings.
