I’m an Astrologist, ok.
noooo…everyone knows our fates are in the hands of Zardoz the dayglow green dinosaur that rules the universe.
How would EVE Astrology work?
Those constellations in your picture are a result of a single perspective at a certain time on a non-spacefaring planet. They make no sense in the year YC126 in New Eden, immensely far away in both space and time from Sol and Earth’s perspective on space.
Even if we could still see of the stars of those constellations of the zodiac, it would be completely unrecognizable from our perspective.
In a situation where people can travel between stars, between nebulae and entire regions in less than an hour, how would this archaic idea of ‘constellations’ work?
I mean, we still have constellations as groups of stars that are close together, but these are now defined by their proximity in light years rather than ‘how close the stars seem to be when seen from the perspective of one planet regardless of their actual distance’. And the constellations will wildly change depending on the direction you watch the constellation from.
So, how would EVE astrology work?
Sir, we are in the “Out Of Pod Experience” section, here we discuss about astrological events.
We are now entering in October, which is dominated by The Tower (N glyph) and guarded by The Warrior.
The Firmament states that those born under this sign “have a knack for finding gold and can open locks of all kinds.”
My predictions for this month are:
Like a fortress, you may weather fire and claw.
But do not rely on strength alone. The strongest wall is the one that is hidden.
What do you think? I believe The Warrior is on descendant, and not influencing enough this time of the year.
Heck yeah…you’ve predicted me.
Now you know why I don’t watch cheesy sci-fi shows!
The redhead is hot though!
If I were able to watch American t.v. shows in the 60’s, I’d ask this question to you: “Ginger or Mary Ann?”. But since I haven’t watched the show the question is about, I can’t ask you that and you may ignore what I wrote.
Is it a common occurence that the Ascendant matches the sign or is it rare?
Does it happen with more signs than others or is completely random?
EDIT
Well I looked on the internet and there doesn’t seem to be an answer. I’ll ask an Astrologist next time I’m fortunate to meet one.
Tuff one as I’m a sucker for crazy redheads, but in this case, Mary Ann.
