Hereâs a small update to Triglavian Invasion Behaviour
This information regards the Proving Grounds Site.
First of all, it appears that being outside of the Arena Ring will deal 1000 damage every 2 seconds - A poor miner had to find that out the hard way but provided us with the logs of his demise. Leaving the Arena is therefore a terrible idea.
To the Mechanics of the site itself:
The Renewing Type ships have increased their remote repair amount by a significant amount. It also seems as if all Rodiva class ships have also slightly increased their repair amount. But we could not 100% confirm this yet.
What we could confirm is that the Roaming Fleets will 100% warp into active Proving Grounds - This paired with a Zoryaâs Challenge is definetly not a thing the recommended 6-10 people could handle.
This is just the additional stuff that warped in.
The Screenshot was taken after warping out and encountering the fleet again, thatâs why they are at 8k.
This is definetly something that makes the Proving Grounds Site something that is not meant for less than 15 Players with a significant Logi wing. Especially considering there is no way to differentiate between the sites spawns and the roaming fleet so you canât even stop triggering new waves.
This once again increases the risk of these sites by a significant amount, and I think the DED Payout should maybe be adjusted to an increased number of pilots. 6-10 man is not the way to go in these sites. Not with this kind of DPS on the field.
Not having an issue with harder sites, but please increase the payout if ISK and LP, especially since LP are barely worth anything these days.
The only active site we did not yet encounter a roaming fleet in was the Major, but since even the World Ark isnât spared from that I do not think it impossible, Stay vigilant while running these sites.
And please, for the love of god, implement a protection against ninja salvagers.
PS: It does appear that world arks are somehow linked between all active invasions. Because twice did our site disappear without anyone running it. Shortly after we were forced out of it. It should also be the reason that all invasions appear to end at the same time so often. I am not sure if that is intended a bug or not.
Can confirm that I have seen roaming fleets land in a Major conduit this evening.
Was it an Active Major or one that got just finished, because we had two in a row where they landed shortly after we cleared it.
Active, we were mid way in I think, had the Zorya wave spawn after the roamers came in.

Has anyone bug reported this behavour to find out if it is intended? ⌠Its a bit off to have recommended numbers for sites and then have random amounts of additional bad guys drop on you (usually at a bad time)

Personally i see no reasons to resub and will watch the game from outside playing other games.
If youâre in a system with nobody clearing roamers then theyâll all converge on the same spot.
This is why, while perimeter systems are considered the easiest, if the system is relatively (5-9 pilots) empty then the difficulty spikes exponentially since all roams respond/escalate to the same trigger if theyâre in range.
An empty perimeter system is harder than an active foothold system.

Suddenly even the no-wreck spawns in the World Ark site are no longer a complete insult.
Also rework the payouts. 1 corvette warps in shoots once and gets as much Bounty/LP as any of the other people in the site. Makes me wanna create 10 alts and just ruin every single site for everyone. How long can one do this until nobody runs the sites anymore?
Ran them the other day, and the answer is not many. Minors where completely untouched for hours. Speaks volumes of content in itâs current payout form when the loot is still worth as much as it is. People arenât willing to risk the ships needed for this content when the payout isnât consistent.
Note, I do not like bounty ticks or other pure isk rewards. However, i itâs current form itâs too easy to steal the loot from a fleet with little to no consequence.
Couldnât the FC or someone else (in a squad command or WC/FC fleet position) tag all the site spawns quickly before the roaming fleet arrives so as to differentiate? And new waves⌠if theyâre coming out of a similar abyssal filament-ish portal like they do in the minors, just tag tag tag right away and ignore the ones warping in separately for now.
There is literally 150+ ships spawning within a minute.
This is and was never the issue with the Invasion sites.
The two issues which drive DPS people away IMO are:
- Boss loot is worthless, the value is in salvage
- Roaming fleets jumping on you, make it Abyss-like risk level to lose your ship
Risk/reward is skewed, and needs to be repaired.
Solution proposal: stop roaming fleets in sites, move top 2-3 salvage items to loot drop. Add more (actual valuable) mutaplasmids to boss drops.
Roaming Fleets are fine, just clear fleets before you run sites. Simple.
The thing that drives people away from the content is simple how easy it is for others to steal from you. You canât do anything to defend against ninja salvaging nor against them taking a split of the payout by shooting once.
Make it so, that ships smaller than cruisers can not enter these sites, also make it so that people who warp in afterwards will get shot by nearby enemies. The NPCs completely ignoring non-tanked ships is just plain stupid. Make them ignore Noctis ok. If someone warps in a Noctis to ninja, you just warp out and back in, the noctis will die 100%.
The loot needs to be adapted too, but that is better done by simply adding variety. Having to salvage for loot is good, not being able to do anything against ninjas, thatâs bad. No Frigates in these sites and the stealing/salvaging efficiency will drop drastically.
hahah⌠nevermind, then. I think the tagging overloads after you tag about 20 to 30 targets. Would need muuuuultiple squad commanders all tagging different things super quick, thenâa minigame in itself. Egad.
