You’re right, however if one person has 100 alts…they need to remember where each of those alt’s Merc Dens were put down as only that character can access it. But it’s a lot harder for a null corp or alliance to control all the merc dens at a top level, it will be done at the personal level, like PI.
It’s not like EVE is called spreadsheet simulator
or spreadsheets in space
or something like that. Oh wait.
“New Threshold Werpost sentry guns will aggress any capsuleer who goes beyond 50km from the Stellar Observatory”
Does this change come along with a change to where the dread will spawn? Currently it spawns somewhere between 50-100km from the beacon/Stellar Observatory, and that will add a requirement of either range projection or tanking the Werpost.
PVE shield fits lost their + 100% Bonus to Shield Extender and the +50 Armor and while that was not a huge kick n the pods PVE also lost their bulkhead bonus.
Gankers = Win
/ Actually I am not happy with that change
Bearing witness to the SFI buffs, should probably look into 650mms since in a lot of player cultures fitting them is seen as a mark of shame.
Also re-evaluate the SFX for weapon systems to feel more satisfying.
the hs sansha need change, dont like flashpiont, you wait 3y to change, the (join the army) will dont have enough earnings
dont make encrypted infomorphs can change isk and give new player more isk, make only t1 can in and finish these simple mission
Seems like Revenant is missing a module that offsets breaching pods. How about a defensive pod option? One that would negate breacher pods, or maybe heal targeted ships?
Um smartbombs
Warping to the next solar system
Docking
All counters
@CCP_Bee
I have a question about the small breacher pod: it is a small weapon, does the Wulf-Rayet effect also appies to these weapon system?
CCP also did not mention anywhere that they worked on explosions in the recent past. They made almost all of them look worse than before.
Now that Show Info windows of ships show killmarks, the preview of characters should tell me what clothing item a char is wearing when I check the 3d preview.
CRAB loot got buff and supers haven’t touched so I’m satisfied
Are the public corp projects - for non-members - still on the agenda?
They were hinted during the Fanfest’23 Keynote…
I’m just waiting for the corporation opportunities for non-member so to attract potential recruits or other people who would like to help other corporations without leaving theirs’ one.
About the Marauders
“Marauders continue to be incredibly dominant in all areas of space”
Q1: Based on what metrics? I don’t see a lot of them ever.
Q2: Marauders are 1 of only 2 T2 battleships. So shouldn’t it be a goal they are one of the absolutely most used ships - until more choices are made available?
“so we’re removing the bonuses which provide additional hitpoints to buffer modules fit to them”
Q3: It seems most Marauders are active fit, if want to hurt their “incredibly dominant” status, why is the nerf aimed at their buffer, and not their active tank?
“the Vargur still stands out as the worst offender amongst them, it currently is the #1 highest damaging ship on average for all killmails in null security and wormhole space”
Since I never see a Vargur in PvP, I am curious.
Q4: How is this average determined?
Q5: What ships are #2-#10?
Q6: What are the numbers for the Vargur and the #2-#10 ships? (so we can see how it stands out).
About Breacher Pods
“completely ignores resistances”
“Maximum Damage per second: 800 (1000 with max skills)”
So against a target with 80% resistance, you are launching a cruiser with 5000* DPS + normal weaponry?
EDIT *Per target, up to 7 * 5000 = 35000 DPS.
Its not a weapon. Its a pod full of soldiers. I would assume the effect wouldnt apply here
And what are these soldiers doing? Shooting with handguns against a spaceship shield? Or why does the shield get damaged? Or do they breach shield, armor and hull and “fight inside the ship”? Then why do shield and armor get damage over time? Why do they get damaged at all instead of the hull directly, if the soldiers are already inside the ship? And if they can do that, why not sending a nuclear bomb to breach directly to the hull and instantly kill the target? Even if it’s only soldiers, why does the damage stop after x seconds, they could just go to the capsule-room and shoot the capsuleer? This new mechanic doesn’t make sense, neither within the combat mechanics nor lore-wise.
