Your semantic argument is exactly that. My case is clearly stated. Anyone who wants to can read it. You can choose to acknowledge it or not.
Does anyone at CCP play this game? Is this something they personally think theyâd want or use?
Just give a small SP reward for logging in - easy. Giveaways of crap no-one wants and has to click into trash every day are worse than nothing.
How about they change the claim window so you have to choose either the skill points OR the âgiftâ but you canât have both. That would be the same as the trash can for most people.
This is from my alpha account. That SP bar was supposed to fill probably the day before yesterday if it was collecting SP at the same speed it did at the beginning (1500 a day if I remember correctly). Today I only received 334 SP, which is about the half of what I got yesterday.
Will this thing ever fill up? What is going on?
Daily login rewards are a cancerous mechanic. FOMO might be good for business, but itâs frustrating as hell for the consumer. Especially in a game like EVE, where players have multiple accounts, and have to mechanically go through all of them to get all the rewards.
I hope they put out this dumpster fire and get rid of it.
What is the point of rewards I have to redeem and then immediately trash because they are utterly without value to me and Iâm guessing everyone else.
Whatâs the point? Why are they even a thing? This is literally worse than nothing.
Keep the SP thing, increase it if you like.
Can I haz your stuffz?
Most of it is soulbound and cannot be transferred.
I think its fairly conceivable that there are Volitile SKINS that will expire before the character that receives it is able to actually fly the ship.
I thought time limited ârentedâ skins died out years ago
Not sure many are caring about time limited skins
If you donât want stuff give it away or sell it, market dump it
They are spamming 7 Day free volitiles of all the ones they are pushing in the PLEX store atm.
Its not a giveaway, its a promotional event
Like free samples in the supermarket, when they existed.
Before the Event
Thatâs happened to me several times. The record holder is a Widow skin: It would take me 112 days to even sit in the ship.
Send more free samples
I got one for the Marshall.
So that 7 day âfreebieâ skin would have cost nearly 10 billion ISK to actually use.
10 bil for indefinite use, not 7 days
No the skin lasts for 7 days.
Yes but how much to buy a 7 day skin vs infinite use skin?
werenât skins bound to ships at the start and not the character?
Buying an infinite use skin adds a billion or more to the cost. But its besides the point, they gave me a free 7 day skin that I couldnât use without a 10 bil investment.
Gold Magnate skins for everybody!! (Volatile, 7 day, of course)
