Expanding Criminal Activities in High-Sec

LOL!! You gankers all sing the same old tired song! “I can destroy 8,000,000,000 EHP all by myself!!!”

Yeah, let’s see it! Thought not! “You’ll grow out of it!” LOL! No, because it works. It always works. Trash ships can’t rip through tanked ships unless there are 50 of them and last time I checked, you and the other losers don’t have that many lackeys online at the same time anymore. I can do the math. I know how many bugs there need to be in each security status to wipe out whatever ship I’m flying at the time. A near 800,000 EHP freighter will win every time.

And yes, a Logi ship is capable of shutting down a group of Catalysts- at least mine is.

No ship is ungankable. I must find that killmail where 40 Talos ( they can do over 2000 DPS each ) brought down one of your ‘ungankable’ ships. I have several of them…around 100m ISK.

Lol…gotta love the way your alleged ship is now 800K EHP…up from an already unbelievable 700.

Oh my god! “No ship is ungankable! I can show you a killmail where a venture killed a titan! No, not solo. The titan was fighting 800 other ships, but the venture did most of the damage!”

Whatever. No one is listening to that tired old tune anymore, Gloria.

And yeah. I guess youve never heard of upgrading a fit. And if you think it’s unbelievable, youre even worse at this game than you think i am.

Link two braincells together and remember that one thing I’ve always done is take time to work on tank fits. I don’t even need expensive mods for this fit.

This can be Tested. For experiment Invite a 45 safety. members with 45 Talos on a 0.5 system near jita. Just message Aiko if your interested.

The funny thing is that you think 45 people would be willing to be online at the same time with the same goals and willing to lose a fitted Talos just for a freighter. And that I’d be passing through at that time with that freighter. That’s a lot of very slim possibilities.

45 alts.

You have 45 Omega alts just for losing Talos ships? Lol!

Do you also admit to using the banned multibox software?

Aiko has the influence to make this possible. Just contact her if your interested.

Theoretical Maximum

To hit 800,000 EHP, a freighter would need:

  • Extreme Boosts: Hypothetical fleet boosts with officer-level command modules (e.g., 50%+ resistance increase), which are rare and impractical.
  • Custom Scenarios: A freighter in a heavily boosted fleet with multiple command ships and perfect skills/implants might push EHP closer to 300,000–400,000, but 800,000 is beyond current mechanics for freighters.
  • Comparison to Capitals: Dreadnoughts or supercarriers achieve 800,000+ EHP due to 7–8 low slots, rig slots, and higher base HP/resistances, which freighters lack.

Practical Context

  • Freighters are typically ganked in high-sec with ~100,000–200,000 EHP, requiring 20–50 glass cannon ships (e.g., Catalysts or Talos) to destroy in ~15 seconds before CONCORD arrives.
  • A Reddit post from 2019 notes freighter EHP typically ranges from 100,000–200,000 with standard fits, and even maxed fits rarely exceed 300,000 due to slot limitations.
  • No known freighter fits in forums or X posts (as of my knowledge) achieve 800,000 EHP, as players prioritize cargo over tanking for freighters.

Conclusion

Achieving 800,000 EHP on a freighter is not realistically possible in EVE Online with current mechanics (June 2025). A fully optimized Providence or Bowhead with max skills, faction modules, implants, and fleet boosts might reach 200,000–300,000 EHP, but 800,000 is far beyond their capabilities due to limited slots and low base resistances. Combat capitals like dreadnoughts or supercarriers are the practical choice for such high EHP. For freighters, tanking to this level is impractical and not cost-effective compared to their role as cargo haulers.

I’d have to check my Avalanche (haven’t used it in like forever), but I’m pretty sure it was well in excess 500k EHP.

I’ve got almost 200k EHP on my Skiffs and I know my Orca is approaching 400k EHP (would also have to double-check that).

I miss the days people would refer to Pyfa for theorycrafting.

Stop using these stupid AIs.

A Providence with just 3 Bulkheads already has 560.000 eHP.
Give the Pilot a HG Amulet set, wihch isn’t uncommon, it boosts the eHP to 645.000.
Escort it with an Absolution, you will get 740.000 eHP.
Drop in a Phylax Armor Booster (lucky if you have one) and you’ll be at 775.000 eHP.

An Avalance with Nirvana Set and a Command Ship Escort can exceed a million eHP when overheating the Invuls during a gank, easily. Same can be done with a Bowhead (if you want to consider this a “Freighter”).

I saw a funny meme with this one

This is worst than the one who lost a marauder to the Drifters. :face_with_hand_over_mouth:

I’m smelling some nerfing on this somewhere in the future.. CCP alliance can’t be trusted. LOL

But still Haulers in the forum should be taking notes on your piece of info. :slightly_smiling_face: That explanation is more believable than saying hey, I have this kind of tank, You can’t gank it.

Plus mine that was already linked.

I also add one more argument.

If you basically prevent scanning with this change, then the Tornado gankers at Jita just start gambling and shooting ppls blindly. Which is generally what the antigank crowd hates the most when gankers go after unprofitable ship.

Tornado gankers are twitchy… and lazy. They tend to shoot first rather than do any ship analysis, which leads to them getting one shot off (max) before Concord steps in. Unless it’s a wafer thin shuttle - the target usually survives.

No that’s not how this works. This has to be an unscheduled event.

Lol! I said NEAR 800,000.

I have a freighter with 775,000 EHP using only T2 mods. You’re bad at this game.

It’s ok, let them dream… lol

Cool story bro. :backhand_index_pointing_up:

There’s already a great explanation. :backhand_index_pointing_down:
