@DeMichael_Crimson do you know how much standings is awarded on faction promotion? Talking about:
When your standings with your NPC militia corporation reach an integer number (i.e. 1.0, 2.0, 3.0 etc), you receive a “promotion”, which is reflected in a higher rank (visible on your character sheet). The first time you reach a new rank, you also receive a one-off bonus to your standings with your faction (and a corresponding drop in your standings with the enemy faction).

The info I have in my notes is from way back within the first few years of creating ‘The Plan’ (2010-2012) so I don’t know if it’s still current or not. Also not sure but I think it’s with Social level 5 trained…
Anyway, here’s the FW standing increase per rank that I have listed in my notes…
Factional Warfare Standing Gains
Rank 1: get free for joining.
Rank 2: +4.4198% Faction standing increase when you get +1.0 standing to the FW corp
Rank 3: +6.4198% Faction standing increase when you get +2.0 standing to the FW corp
Rank 4: +8.4198% Faction standing increase when you get +3.0 standing to the FW corp
Rank 5: +10.4198% Faction standing increase when you get +4.0 standing to the FW corp
Rank 6: +12.4198% Faction standing increase when you get +5.0 standing to the FW corp
Rank 7: +14.4198% Faction standing increase when you get +6.0 standing to the FW corp
Rank 8: +16.4198% Faction standing increase when you get +7.0 standing to the FW corp
Rank 9: +18.4198% Faction standing increase when you get +8.0 standing to the FW corp
Rank 10: +20.0% Faction standing increase when you get +9.0 standing to the FW corp

This wasn’t too bad at all. I went from 0.5 to 5.7 by doing 1xSisters Epic Arc, Most of the Data Centres (one is a no go as the tags cost 600mill), then a 6-7hr grind to get corp standing up that gives the Caldari Epic Arc (Expert Distribution or something), then I did the Caldari Epic Arc (pretty crap loot but big standings increases).
So now I am close enough to do most of the COSMOS’ in one hit so I can get my hands on the Michi Excavator Implant/

Since then did a few EZ mode Level 1 and 4 Cosmos which got me from 5.4 to over 6 which meant that I could do the mission for the Michi.
Did the mission, quite hard in a Tengu with just omni resists and not Gurista specific resists. But the turnin thing “Wei Kodai” or something never got stolen off me and I ended up selling the Michi for 2.6bill.

I keep standing fleets in all 4 empires that I rotate through, so I don’t make the same mistakes again! 
I used “The Plan” to get back to good standings. I had a general idea, but the plan was far more efficient. Thank gawd for good alts…

I’m working to boost / fix my standings with the Intaki Syndicate, and am looking for some tips.
My Social skills are maxed out, which gives me the following standings:
- The Syndicate (Faction) : -1.82 (base -4.77)
- Intaki Bank : +5.89 (base +4.86)
- Intaki Commerce : +2.29 (base +0.36)
- Intaki Space Police : +7.54 (base +6.93)
- Intaki Syndicate : +2.01 (base +0.02)
I’m currently working my way through the Gallente L4 Epic Arc, “Syndication”, and am aware that I will be coming up against some Syndicate NPCs along the way.
I’ve read the EVE-Survival guide, and I notice that for some missions where Syndicate NPCs do need to be destroyed, it specifies that there is no standings penalty, but for other missions this is not clarified.
I did see that destroying some Syndicate structures (to help blitz later missions) will incur a -3% standing hit, so I’ll not be doing that.
I’ll also be choosing the pro-Syndicate option at the end of the arc for the +12.5% (base +10%) standings boost, and also have a Basic Glamourex Booster ready for an extra 15% lift when the time comes.
So I have two questions:
- Will my standings be impacted by shooting the Syndicate NPC ships (but not structures) throughout the arc?
- Are there any other recommended routes to boost my standings with The Syndicate that’s quicker than an endless grind for storyline missions?
