I dont see any use for this, I doubt ccp would take the time and energy away from the gameplay itself to work on separating log in tokens for each character on the account much less split each character up so each one is no longer under one whole account. But paid separately, the way you make it sound.
While they were able to add log off and log on another character on the account a lot quicker than having to shut down and restart, I really dont see any reason why we need to log on more than one on one account
No need to shut down and restart - that is the whole point of hot-swapping. The purpose of logging on more than one on one account is so you don’t have to have multiple accounts with multiple clients.
The point you were making is entirely wrong considering Omega currently is for 3 characters with only one being actively trained. Mine would be the effectively the same thing. Each Omega for each character would allow 3 total characters to have Omega with one actively training. Watch this peon who can’t curse:

3 accounts, up to 9 characters. If you Omega each account that is still 9 characters with only 3 characters being able to actively train. That is how it currently works.
My idea (hot-swap):
1 account, 9 characters. If you Omega 3 characters that is still 9 characters with Omega benefits but only 3 characters can actively train. That would be equivalent to how it currently works…without having to have 3 accounts.
Any characters after the first 9 are Alpha characters that don’t get Omega benefits.

again, i don’t see CCP taking that route. why? Unless you are going to pay PLEX or $20 a month or whatever for 2 years or so, on each “CHARACTER” they won’t split it up that way.. they’ll LOSE money.
and i didn’t say anything about shutting down and restarting.. i said that is what USED TO HAPPEN, before they fixed the log in so you could quickly log on and off a different character on that same account.
if you want to train multiple characters, on one account buy a MCT.
for the sake of not giving myself a headache instead of saying money, i’ll use PLEX as the basis
thats 1500 PLEX per month, for one character each. Omega is tied to ACCOUNT status not character status.
again OMEGA is tied to accounts, CCP would have to basically re-write the entire legacy code for logging in, separate accounts and characters and somehow write a code to say " only these three are omegas and not these"
I say 1k plex per character, so pay ccp 3k PLEX to train 3 characters on one account
This is literally just multiboxing. I doubt you’ll have a significant reduction in the load on your hardware by running 1 client that’s doing the work of 2 vs 2 clients.
Doesn’t this just add multiboxing for alpha accounts?
Here’s an idea for you. Pay a second omega for your account, and you can run 2 chars on that account at the same time as well as train 2 chars at once. Third omega would work the same way. The only thing I would support here is being able to run 2 chars on the same account with 2 omega subs.
