correct me if im wrong but why cant u still copy/paste fit/build links outside of the game into EVE?
something like u have in hearthstone with deck strings

You can’t cut and paste a single link to a fit. But you can Import and Export the fit itself from the Fitting screen.

can this be done the other way around? from a website into a fit? to use it myself in game instead of sharing it on the internet

Yep, just highlight that fit (or any other) from “[Gila” all the way to “x80” and Copy. That puts it on the Clipboard.

Then open the Fitting window in game, and say “Import from Clipboard”
