The forums are dead. ISD over regulation has allowed a small group of prolific trolls to either drive everyone else away, or gotten people banned by pestering them until they lost their patience and said abadword. CCP spends more time on Reddit than they do here.
Honestly, every forum except new player help areas could probably be deleted at this point.

I agree with your post: it’s understandable that CCP Paragon locked that other thread as the bickering was no longer about whatever gank, antigank or unaffiliated playstyle players like to have ingame, but some people had to drag IRL genders in as some sort of way to insult people.
Some ( like me ) have both. Who one is in RL is totally irrelevant. I can’t believe its 2022 and there are still people who have a problem with people having alternate sex avatars. Get over it !
I do think that it is good etiquette to refer to a character by their assigned avatar sex in Local and in the forums.
There is no way they can tell if anyone is male, female a goat or whatever.
The knuckle heads assume every girl is a guy as never seen a girl in their mom’s basement.
IRL insults are the last resort of a basement dweller who sucks at PvP.

It seems that the AGs have fully embraced becoming total caricatures of actual EVE players. They’re like the embodiment of those old-timey political cartoons. Everything has become wholly surreal, and it’s impossible to tell whether the people in question actually believe what they say, or they’re simply commitment-trolling the community.
We’re effectively at Family Guy cutaway gag levels of AG ridiculousness at this point.
