My friend, a FC from nullsec, believes that in FW on frigates there are two or three archetypes and corresponding tactics and this is boring monotonous content.
And many peoples say that they are not interested in frigate battles only because they are cheap.
For me, on the contrary, it is the tension of good one-on-one battles. Especially when the enemy explodes when I have 1% of the hull left.
And about cheapness. I remember how we used 4 motherships in nullsec and 50 dreadnoughts dropped on us. My mothership evaporated in a time equal to the time of the battle on frigates. If the result is the same, then why pay more?
Which approach are you more inclined to agree with and why?
By the way, yesterday I got such a kill.

Nice kill! I really enjoy the frigate meta by completely subverting it. I use crazy fits, die in a fire, then undock again. I’ve also found a lot of fun in cruiser solo pvp. Aside from the Exeq Navy scourge, every fight is unique and exciting! Keep bringing the good fight!
Living in FW low-sec (as a neutral) i’m seeing many different ships on d-scan. Cannot say it’s “too monotone”.
Personally, I’m not into PvP. Too lazy, slow, and clumsy to enjoy it. Yes, i’ve participated in fleet battles, small and not-small gang roams and even had some solo kills. But overall, i’m on the receiving end of PvP
And here I can only talk from this side: I don’t care about cheap ships. So much that I can passively wait until my caught ship is getting blown away or to chat with those who is about to destroy it. The main reason to attempt escape is that i would need to go to market and buy me another ship. The market is 3 jumps away? Let’s enjoy the fireworks then. Even better if they pod me.
On the other hand… If it was some expensive ship… I would still go PvPeing and will not do anything extraordinary to save it…
