Something is really off or I missed something? Left is an orca with no rigs or other stuff, right is a porpoise. How can these be the same if the porpoise kept it’s role bonus on mining yield?
Can someone tell me what the heck is residue? I guess it is not the waste, but then what?
its the waste.
Rebranded to be hip and happening in the age of ……….prosperity
How much input did you have in the industry changes? The adding of pi to battleship and capitals is what I’m referring to. I keep hearing it called feldustry and really just want to know if you pushed for it or think it’s a good idea.
age of scarcity 2.0, it is the waste mechanic but renamed
where will I find the blueprint for the compact industrial core and where does it go in the fitting. the lack of clarity from ccp on this patch is staggering.
I get one ammount on the modulated strip miner and after one cycle in the cargo it gets less.
On the strip miner it shows the ammount with Waste added?
Saw that after each cycle it shows the ammount it mines. even if it says that there are lost residues you will get the same ammount in the cargo.
Quality of life adjustment:
If you mine with a hulk and boosted with a porpoise. if you want to transfer the ore you need to transfer it to Fleet hangar then to ore hold.
The Fleet Hangar remained at 5000 m3 and the Hulk mines more in 1 cycle (tried with Modulated strip miners II and T2 Type A crystals.
It is possible to increase the Fleet hangar in order to get at least one full cycle of the maximum yeild possible in the hangar and not move it several times?
Prior to changes I know it was like 1683 m3 per 63 seconds/module at a total of 24.3m3/sec if I remember right. (or roughly that values. So with 1 cycle you would get 3300m3 and it could fit ok in the Fleet hangar.
Anyone managed to find a Gas Cloud Harvester I BPO?
I had very very little to do with that patch in general as far as that goes…
Think like this - you saw this patch with no CSM input - the “Dev Blog” and then you see the patch AFTER CSM input
You never saw the non CSM input version of the industry patch
“Feldustry” was coined by some goons I think cause they mad
The “Compact” was a placeholder - the name is large industrial core and it is available in Jita
see “Known issue thread”
I think forcing people to click around harder was just as much a purpose of the duration bonus to yield bonus swap as it was to the increase the impact of random cycle wastage.
You can workaround the small hangar by jettissoning one script of foreman charges to create a jetcan, tractoring this jetcan with the porpoise to keep the can “anchored” on the porpoise, and having the hulk offload it’s ore into the jetcan, which has 27.000m^3 (minus something for the charge). Just don’t scoop the foreman charge, and you can abuse the jetcan to exchange items between your porpoise and the toons you anchor on it (or anchor on the jetcan).
I did not test the C-type crystal yet but I see that the residue volume multiplier is bigger than previously announced.
I do not know if it is intended or not, but I want to point out a problem that may appear because of the Type C crystals.
If you mine with the Type C crystal you get a lot of waste and it will kill the asteroids pretty fast.
This I fear, it will be utilized by the players to roll the anomalies in null sec to look for Mercoxit. If one anomaly is finished the next one will appear shortly.
The offer will increase dramatically and the demand will remain steady so I fear that the price will crash.
It will have a domino effect on all the industry that uses morphite. T2 modules that are created with the morphite may have the biggest crash. (T2 and T3 ships will not be that affected because the price of morphite in the ships is less percentage than the other resources than in the modules).
Solutions:
-to introduce a response timer of the ore anomalies (just like with the ice anomalies)
-to reduce the mining index in the system proportional to the waste created. (it will affect the apparition of the anomalies) and will be a penalty of rolling stuff. Example: if you create more waste than the amount mined to decrease the Industry index. A formula may be found here that can be tweaked in the future.
High sec normally has bountifull resources and I do not know a lot about the low sec WH or Pochven ore’s in order to give a point on that direction.
Are there any skills for Industrial Reconfiguration available on market? 0 on Jita now… I would like to skill it up before price will stabilize for Large Industrial Core II
I see, just right click on it inside skills and select buy and inject (cost is 26kk ISK)
The C-type listed is correct it was in the update thread above - it is different than the devblog
Those 2 use cases for the C-types are well known and have been discussed
Look how that Orca price has tanked already!
