Whats the use of a Rorqual Jump Generator, for the most part now Null sec is rental, you stay in your own system, or systems. you have no need to jump 5-10 sectors away to mine. Sounds like most dont know what or how null sec mining works anymore.
Lets take highsec
EHP defines how many ships are required to gank you before concord interferes and and the you might survive.
same for 0/low/WH where the question turns into how long will it take you to field a stronger force to beat them off.
as you said no amount of EHP will make you survive a gank as they will field as many acc´s as required to gank you. So it comes down to gank identification by numbers before the actual gank happens.
now a question to you in what situation would you field your nice blingbling? when you have 1 sus or 60suspcious players in your system?
I think I get it now. You’re saying that because more gankers would be required, the bigger spike will have the potential to tip you off faster.
While this works in theory, I doubt it would affect in practice even just 1 out of every 100 miners out there. Essentially we’d be overbalancing the ships for edge case scenarios, and that’s just not a very good design methodology. It would make the ships too strong in normal use cases, wherein the they will die regardless, but the cost of the gank becomes much higher (AKA “ISK-tanking” the ships).

1)alpha acoount placed in Jita
2)send alpha account isk to purchase injectors
3)contract injectors back
4)accept contract, undock then dock, search for injectors and activate remotely

but i do agree with you my preferred screw to be adjusted would be their prices. as they are by far to expensive for what they generate and survive.
but the ISK-Tanking is an issue, just imagine the upror if any Titan could be killed by a singel ship within 20sec worth not even 1/50th of the titan…

Nope, they are fine as they are. Yield increases with tech level, but also the waste probability, they explained why and it makes sense
screw the gankers. They’re mostly ganking because their main gameplay got boring. Fix that and they’ll be too immersed in good fights to have time for ganking.

What I enjoy is all of the complaints about the “AFK” Orca being a problem with its unboosted barge yield, but everyone is fine with people mentioning the AFK Rorqual mining at 2x Hulk yield.

Why not instead of killing the Orca or Rorqual because CCP allows people to run multiple accountants with a GAME KILLINGS NUMBER of the same ships, they limit that number. You can still have multiple accountants you just cant field multiple of the same ship, Per ISP/Computer. Its the people who are abusing this that are the issues and the fact that CCP allows it.

Perhaps your claim would carry more weight if its author refrained from blindly dipping his hand into the trough of carebear-sanctioned myth and offering up whatever pungent morsel lay pinched between his thumb and forefinger.
You do sound like someone who has a low opinion of gankers - and to that you are entitled, of course. Nevertheless, a little restraint goes quite far in making your contributions less…dramatic.

expand your horizon, this game has more areas then just Highsec. Ore anomalies spawn and respawn, you take all expensive ore out, how do you get it to spawn quicker? Oh ya an FYI nullsec no longer has ore belts only anomalies.
