I am not sure if this is the right place to post this, but with recent adjustments to AWOX penalties and such, isn’t it the time to also finally do something about enemy logis in friendly militia remote repairing their ships?
I cannot think of even one legitimate reason for genuine friendly logi to repair an enemy militia’s ship (please, let me know if there are such reasons)
From my personal experience, recent AWOX penalty changes really helped improving the semi-controlled FW environment overall, but at the same time made it more difficult to deal with such “emergent gameplay”.
With recent revert of unpopular battlefield changes, it seems that FCCP is listening and willing to do adjustments regarding the FW, so it might be a good timing to also address frenemy logi problem now after all.
I think standing penalties for a frenemy logi and/or making them a free-to-shoot target for allies (to allow for a case when there actually IS some legitimate reason to remote repair an enemy ship) are both acceptable solutions to the problem.
Currently it works this way for attacking friendlies, so I don’t see any issues with setting the same penalty for directly helping the enemy. We even had a similar problem with similar solution to it in High Sec - supporting ships are not immune to criminal flags and CONCORD intervention anymore.
During recent FW changes, the standing hit for AWOXing was massively increased, while also removing safe heavens for AWOXers by taking corporation standings out of the equation (only personal standings matter now for FW ejection), making standing hits good enough of a deterrent.
