Galactic Hour News Roundup: Crackdowns on Collaborators

The offer is appreciated, but I’ve got some things up my sleeves. I don’t believe that violence will be necessary, yet. Rest assured though, the idiots in charge of making these decisions will find themselves regretting their folly.

@Diana_Kim I assume you’re talking about Icefant. Crimson Serpent is no longer a member of the Militia, and while we do provide many services to the State such as trade, manufacturing, clandestine operations and intelligence services, I can not set the entirety of the Militia to blue status, and thus can not guarantee the safety of every Militia member not belonging to a corporation with positive standing to Crimson Serpent Syndicate. Unless he’s aggressing against a pre-set blue, then I’m going to have to side with my capsuleer agents when it comes to conflicts.

When it comes to infiltration of CSSYN… I spent five years in Ishukone Watch’s investigations division, and five years in the counterintelligence division in the Navy after that. That’s not counting my seven years as diplomat, intel officer and director of Crimson Serpent. I’m not saying infiltration of my corporation is impossible… but I think it is somewhat unlikely.

The local Black Rise authorities have cast too wide of a net, and they are obviously attempting to trump up charges to avoid an embarrassing situation. They’ve bitten off more than they can chew, I promise you that.

I’ve caught several people who were cheering for triglavians even in my crew. It’s an existing problem and I am glad the State takes it under control. In that regard, I am supporting it both morally and with help of my guns. I’ve been tightly screening my crew for possible Federal supporters, possible Gurista supporters, and it was totally my oversight that I forgot that certain people could go so nuts to support Triglavians.

Well, on the other hand, to support Gallente and especially Gurista one shall completely go out of their mind.

Collaboration with the enemy (would it be Gallente, Gurista or Triglavian) is almost a treason and shall be dealt with as harshly without mercy and regret.

There was no lack of Capsuleer support in Ichoriya. Loyalist Capsuleers were in-system in large numbers for three days straight, many without sleeping. The reality of the matter is that poor shield calibration and an over-reliance on missiles handicapped our baseliner navy in it’s operations against the Triglavian baseliners to such a degree that we would have had a better chance of saving the system if they had never deployed there in the first place.

That said, it is for the best that all those of whom it can be proven that they collaborated with the Triglavians are dealt with. I do hope that such investigations will be carried out with accuracy.

There was after the system hit first Liminality.

I do hope as well. Though dealing with capsuleer supporters is times more difficult. What could you offer to do with Kybernauts and alliances like Goonswarm? The State doesn’t have authotirty over them. Only CONCORD does. Destroying their assets? We do that, but it doesn’t make them disappear, even after we destroy everything they will be out there, hiding in some wormhole or something like that.

So this is what you speak of. Then yes. I had my hopes that the system would be contested until the final moment. In the end, however, the overwhelming majority were civilian volunteers with either limited or no combat experience. Point in case being that I was in a Condor back then. I tried remaining after first liminality but kept having to disengage from attempts to engage their fleets alone on account of the shields not holding. Given those circumstances, we were hoping that the militia Capsuleers would come.

I was referring to their baseliner supporters. I do not believe that we should act any of them without satisfactory evidence to prove guilt, but if guilt is proven, they should redeem their honour by way of the tea. As for their Capsuleer supporters, that will be far more difficult, as you said, but everyone must do what they can to make them rue their actions until their final death. At the same time, those whom they made refugees must be assisted.

Usually we take the ceremony when we believe we are guilty ourselves and if we do value our honor and try to save it instead of facing the tribunal.
If they haven’t did that yet, then with satisfactory evidences and proven guilt the tribunal can easily send them directly to the firing squads. Or prove their innocence, otherwise. Innocent ones won’t take the tea without reason and tribunal will restore their honor from false accusations.

With baseliners it’s easy indeed, but the situation with capsuleers bothers me: I am just itching to do something against them!

As for the refugees, unfortunately, it’s outside of my competence. Maximum I could offer is military transport and escort services.

If there is one thing I have learned since becoming a Capsuleer, it is that we have the power to do great good and great evil. If there is something we can do for the refugees then we must do so.

And before some clown asks why, because it’s the right thing to do.
