This started a few weeks ago. My computer crashes to black screen. I can still hear the game and discord but after a minute or 2 it shuts down or I have to long press the off button and restart my computer. This normally happens on entering and leaving a station or using a gate, but it can happen anywhere. I was in a haven ratting in a 2.6bil golem and it crashed and by the time I logged back in I was in a pod. I thought I fixed it yesterday and was doing the same in my now 3.5 bil golem and it did it again. Luckily I didn’t have as many rats left and I survived but I had to spend $40 aud to replace my first ship. I have updated everything except reinstalling windows 11. and I don’t think it’s a problem with my computer. I run a 4090 laptop with 64g ram
I have had the similar issue before. My display driver keep timed out (EVE) only. I was able to get to some other programs and able to bring up task manager to kill EVE instance.
FWIW, check your launcher. Try changing DirectX12 to DirectX11 if you are have it set to 12.
I did mine to 11 and I no longer have blank or display driver timed out.
