Have you not rubbed your brain cells together enough to understand that you only need one ship capable of bumping the target?
When the timer approaches 0, another ship can point it, and the timer is reset for the original bumping vessel to continue bumping it for another 3 minutes.
As to CONCORD reaction to the point and remaining on grid, well, thats exclusive to HS, and suicide gankers.
So how many alts do I need to get this job done?
For bumping?
You need 1 bumping ship and:
In HS: 1 point ship per 3 mins.
In LS/NS/WH: A point on the bumping ship, or one additional ship to apply the point per 3mins.
So 7 accounts?

In LS/NS/WH: 1 bumping ship with a point, or 1 bumping ship without a point + 1 point ship,
So tell me how you’re going to use 2 accounts in highsec to keep a freighter bumped.
You only need 1 ship to bump it for 3 mins.
If you want to extend that past 3 mins, you need 1 ship to point it, every 3 minutes (+ the align time of the target), so the 1 bumping ship can continue preventing align/warp on the target.

So you’re looking at 1 bumper and realistically 6 suicide alts (to account for overlapping the timer a bit) just to keep a freighter bumped long enough.
That’s what this will evolve into. These players will be faced with the decision, “is it worth it for me to have 6 suicide alts just to keep this freighter bumped until we get there?”
yep, if it would get implemented then code would use machariel + 6 suicide alts in rookie ship/blackbird to extend the bump ad infinite again

How long the target needs to remain bumped depends on the organisation/mobility/readiness of the suicide gank fleet in HS.
If they are far away, do t have medical clones nearby etc, and/or lazy/inactive, well, too bad too sad, then more suicide points will need to be applied so as to allow the bumper to continue disrupting the align/warp of the target till the fleet pulls its thumb out.
In LS/NS/WH, all that is needed, is a bumping ship with a point, or a bumping ship without a point + 1 point fit ship. Those can keep a ship bumped indefinitely.

Criminal timer only applies to one character, as the one that committed a criminal act.
If you want to keep it bumped indefinitely you need 6 suicide alts and 1 bumper.
It wouldn’t even be that. it would be “Why would I even want to play this trash game anymore?”

How indefinite that is, depends on how many point ships you have on hand.
The longer it takes you to get your fleet there, the more point ships you will need per 3mins.
