The whole “downtime counter” thing took just a single flush.
I am on your side in so much as ‘bumping’ is a broken mechanic, not emergent gameplay. But that’s the long and the short.
“Downtime Counter” - was a joke dude, it meant he couldn’t bump someone for indefinitely only for 23 hours - that’s pretty funny as a comment. And the joke furthered in so much as bumping has a counter, downtime.
Funny or not, its wrecked and over.

It both restricts perma-bump, and leaves enough time for gank action.

You can get friends to gank the bumper, or counter-bump him
Or you can be cautious in the first place… allowing you to see that there’s bumpers waiting for juicy targets

There should be a 25 minute hardcap for how long it takes the hauler to send me their isk. I should not have to wait longer than 25 minutes. Time is money.

I’m actually quite good at what I do. Because of the generosity of the haulers of eve, I’m able to sub all 10 of my accounts. You see if every hauler were to be like the ones that donate their freighters and isk, there would be no need for freighter ganking. Until that day comes when all haulers gain clarity on who should really own that space truck, we’re just going to need to forcefully remove them from their ship.
