No as they lock you too. In eve terms yellow box you, and while locked you cannot safe log. This is another change CCP could make if they felt like it, the gankers would simply have to do an act of aggression. But the howls of anguish from the gankers would be heard across the Earth…
PS Watch as multiple Gankers suggest that me mentioning this means I want to end all ganking and am pushing for CCP to implement it now or else. Will be rather amsuing to read. Ima will grind her teeth and start typing some finely honed insult in her second language, DumDum will foam at the mouth and Sol will post something nonsensical and totally irrelevant, oh and think he is clever.

No, as per what Dracvlad said, but you can just log off normally. If they don’t aggress you (that is shoot you with something and be CONCORDed) with a few minutes you will be removed from space safely.
The downside of this is that your ship will remain in space effectively unpiloted and not benefit from any skills or implants you have, and if they let it emergency warp before aggression, they will have a more private place to administer the coup de grâce. If they really are going to gank you, then it will be much easier for them.
It is probably is not a bad way to call their bluff, at least if you do it right away before they have too much time to prepare, and log in a few minutes later so you can try another tactic if they persist. It won’t save you if they really are serious, but it might get you out of someone just trying to lazily ransom you or trick you into a duel. Then again, it might not, so if you find yourself in such a situation, I suggest you spend the time searching the forums or Google for tips on how to avoid being bumped in the first place.

No. Your warp drive still works. So it can’t be a scram.
It is still true though. An orca can fit one and can use it when bumped.
Here is the test bump a freighter. When it is bumped pick a celestial and click warp to. You will hear “warp drive active.” Now do it that again but instead of bumping use a scram. When you hit warp to you will hear nothing because your warp drive is not working.
Which was noted scores of posts ago. No way that 5 hour bumping was done AFK…if it happened at all.
Ok so AFK bumping for 5 hours is total bullshite. As was stated well over 100 posts ago. And we have no way to really confirm the 5 hours claim. It is the Internet where I am 6’3” tall, look like a young Clint Eastwood, live on the coast in an amazing area and spend all day surfing and cavorting with hot surfer chicks…right?

These stories smell to high heaven of bullcrap because they never tell the whole story. No names. No killmail. No system name. Not even the damn type of freighter. These stories hing on people seeing the dubious time duration and becoming outraged. They also himge on the principle of charity.
