I’ve spent maybe 0.001% of my time in high so obviously I can’t link you a high sec gank.
So you don’t know what you are talking about? I’d leave discussions about Highsec balance to people who actually know something about it.
No, I literally just don’t care. That individual has a clear history of real-life bigotry, so I don’t really see them as anything. They’re less than human to me. My interactions with them, unlike morally well-adjusted EVE players (even those I disagree with), is essentially limited to mocking and making fun of them, like a piece of bad art.
There’s a handful of individuals like that on these forums (I call them the “Axis of Misery”), and they all behave similarly, mainly by being bigots, making real-life threats, making criminal accusations, etc. They’re all subhuman, and the forums actually become a much nicer place when they stop posting.
I think Aiko is a much better PvPer than I am. Literally all I do is spot some fat seal to club and just face-roll across the keyboard while drooling and making “hurr durr” noises. On the other hand, Aiko has to manage both multiple characters and multiple alliance members as an FC, calculate timings with exceptional precision, keep supply lines running smoothly, track the movements of rivals like AGs and loot thieves, and deal with multiple threats at the same time while piloting fragile, DPS-heavy ships.
Meanwhile, I sometimes don’t even remember to dock. Like yesterday I accidentally went AFK in a 4B ISK ship and a 3B ISK pod, and when I came back 3 hours later I was still sitting in the same spot near a gate.
Had no idea the dude was an fc, you make a fair point.
And you wish I had high blood pressure too, you are obsessed.
Simply untrue. Please link the actual bigotry. And I have never made a single real life threat in this game or any other, never have and never will.
But I have noticed that you decided to de-humanise me to justify your high blood pressure comment in some way, way to go tiger, your true stripes are showing.
If ganking was easy I wouldn’t now have gained two kill rights from escaping solo gankers in a mere Venture.
Look they have already won the argument about it not being easy.
Would you like me to go gank someone in high sec? Potentially ruining that persons day. Look It’s also easy to avoid ganks and stay extremely safe in high if you know what you are doing, but the problem is most of the time the people who get ganked are the newer guys.
If you do your work and you setup 0 dock bookmarks and insta undock book marks and all that you become almost ungankable but how many new players even know about it? I still see people auto piloting on gates -_- why?
In your instance since they died means they agressed you so I am guessing they shot with their guns before scramming/webbing you? and you kited away buying time for concord?
and just the idea of you kiting away even thou you are a new player shows that you already have some good reactions and instinct which a lot of newer players don’t have.
O wait a venture so you have the 2 built in warp stab’s I wonder if they used the combat booster that adds scram points.
They both managed to miss…I may have been in scram range but was obviously outside target range. In a 0.8 system they can’t afford to miss.
I think an experienced ganker would have scrammed me and then waited to get closer before firing, or arrived closer in the first place.
I don’t know if scramming itself counts as a Concord-able offence…maybe someone can enlighten me on that.
he would have gotten within 3 before even scramming tbh, but you have 2 built in warp core stabs so I think they where afraid of you getting away if the 2nd guy didnt get his scram on you in time.
I hit warp to station the moment he arrived…its pretty quick with a Venture and I always have Overview set so all I have to do is hit that icon. So I was already moving out of scram range. Hmm…I have a Thrasher and I’m pretty sure the range is more than 3km as I’ve been ratting with it.
I was assuming they where blaster ships with void in, which is usually around 3km optimal, if its 2 thrashers with arty then damn nice escape there, if they had auto’s it would be hard to believe they would be missing as the falloff on those things are amazing but the dps would be low from that range.
That’s a myth, many of the people I gank have been playing longer than me.
Can you actually prove this?
Because there’s a certain data point I keep bringing up when people make this claim, and it’s that the average ganker kill has a greater value (considerably more so) than the average null-sec kill, even if we don’t account for null-sec outliers like super-capital and citadel kills.
Haha, ganking is TOO EASY.
Remove CONCORD protection and watch the gankers RUN!
hmm is that still true if you remove all hauling vessels which are meant to have huge amounts in them. I can understand that people who think they are safe would invest more into their ship so that would make sense, especially mission running/ incursion running ships.
But then you get people like frat who rat with 10b isk ships but its rare as hell that is true while the normal raters are mostly all t2 fit.
Why are you saving an obvious representation of the missing link? That freighter pilot was on autopilot through Uedama. It’s natural selection and you’ve interrupted the balance in our world. How will they learn now? Either they evolve their game play (insta-webs, no afk piloting, command ships and fleets etc.,) or they should donate to the Gankers’ plex pits.
If they auto pilot through uedama then its only a delay xD
Nice video. It’s better than the first one.
Must be deep fakes though, because carebears keep saying that it’s impossible to survive a gank and if gankers want you dead, you’ll be dead.
Clearly someone is wrong.
There we go, ganked and ganked a ganker while I was at it. Missed out on an easy tornado kill(who was also a ganker) because I didn’t know how to activate the kill right -_-
That’s cool, but that’s just one gank. You lost 42 million isk to destroy 8.6 million - so that’s not very impressive. Try to gank ten thousand ships without going bankrupt.
Good luck!
