Nice point. Recently I’ve been doing 5/10 and 6/10 in lowsec, it was very hard to finish those like 10 years ago in Black Rise, now its almost dead. Sometimes I see cynos searching for blackops drops, otherwise just FW lurkers.

Could be solved by giving gankers a bounty on their characters depending on the ship ganked, atleast that would balance the things a bit more, there would be people hunting for gankers as they could get a bounty out of it,

I don’t get it. Just like there are rules to Fight Club, there are some very basic rules to Eve Online. Rule #1 Never fly what you cannot afford to lose.

I was in a system off Jita just about a month ago, I read this guy screaming in chat how they ganked his venture. I told him, it is only a venture, I can give you one for free. He cursed at the gankers some and told me to look at the fit. He was flying a venture worth over 1 billion ISK and mining in one of the high secs off Jita.

To be honest, I wasn’t sure about this guy, but I gave him this fit and told him, “This is what I fly, because it is cheap, and I don’t get so upset when it does get blown up.”.

There is people ganking with -10 security status

Relatively few because it’s easy to stay above -5 (it only costs ISK). Most -10s I’ve encountered are pirate RPers in lowsec.

The 2 ganks OP presented here were done with -10ss gankers.

freighter gank is done with -10 gankers, have you ever been in Uedama?. All the slow ship, big loot targets can be done this way.

Any kind of ganking can be done -10. If the gank fails you just re-dock the ships in an orca inside a POS.

Thats why your idea solves nothing and shows that you have no idea about the topic.

Now keep docked while the players discuss how to solve the Ganking Problem.

There’s a whole lot of misinformation in your post - speaking from someone who is actually a -10 ganker.

The 2 ganks the OP presented were carried out by gankers staying above -5. Checking any of the gankers involved on zkill will confirm this.

Freighter gankers like Hawk maintain positive sec status. You cannot sit on a gate with -10 SS or FacPo will kill you. Hell, sometimes they will even grab you on the undock if the session takes too long to refresh.

FacPo will also enter a POS if you are -10. I’ve tested this.

An Orca holds 9 Thrashers or maybe 8(?) Cats - not enough for a freighter gank.

When a gank fails, your only option as a -10 is to dock in lowsec, or bounce around HS until you locate a new target.

A better idea would be for Concord to not be invincible. I’ve always found it a rather absurd violation of lore that these totally invincible ships exist…yet the factions are still fighting wars with destroyable ships.

What does that change? Either gankers can destroy CONCORD and then actually what? they still won’t be able to warp away, or they don’t and there is no change.

This is exactly what the gankers want, its like spawncamping in an MMO so only your team can get off the beach to actually farm and start off with a massive headstart. Kicks off the whole ‘the rich get richer’ that dominates as that status quo long term.
