You can always ask for reimbursement if you get ganked

You missed my point entirely.

Ditto. Though I think you did it intentionally.

Sausage gravy… mmmmm.

Biscuits.

Plop.

Where’s the ā– ā– ā– ā– ā– ā– ā–  mash?

Mash with sausages and gravy. Not your strange flat dumplings.

While a good idea, how long does it take to switch from green to red? :face_with_diagonal_mouth:

Suspect flag for doing a filament.

ā– ā– ā– ā– ā– ā– ā–  insane.

Get to bed and have a lie down.

I would say, 10-30s to go to or from red, maybe depending on system security. Just enough to prevent flip-and-fire.

It only takes me one click to switch? 0 seconds.

Which? The Topic that Sausage Gravy can be compared to STD’s/HIV/AIDS or the suspect timer while on red safety?

You’re right, if red safeties incur a suspect status it should obviously also require a small delay before you can switch.

I’d say 5 - 10 seconds is plenty to react for others around the ship, if they’re paying attention. Immediately the ship goes suspect, then after the delay their safeties are off.

Three clicks: Select Safety > Disable Safety > Confirm

Multiply that across your whole ganker squad and you have your delay.

These gank fleets that hunts mission runners, abyss runners or anomaly runners always, but really always, have at least one pilot who has killright that you can activate and start shooting first.

It really doesn’t change that much for anything but station camping. Gankers used to work with -10 before there was tether and still got their kills, this would be no different. However, station camping would be impossible to do. And while station ganking is stupid and illogical, you can’t really remove that without giving gankers different way to catch their targets.

How does tethering affect PvP and standings? I’ve tried to search that question, but I haven’t found anything worthwhile on it.

If you have an active weapons timer or insufficient sec status you cannot tether.
