Ganking cancer

You’re the one with a hidden profile..

You call Capsuleers that can play politics lame. Continue pressing your F1.

Or maybe I’ll just support the Gankers. I can do that.
We need more Gankers. Miners don’t want a solution. They just cry.. The idea of suspect timer when safety is disabled is stupid..

And we all know the difference.

My point is still valid.

Link to a newer version then…

Why? I’m not going to do the work for the gankers. They can write up a new one if they want.

If we all know the difference, I don’t see how the point can be valid.

You postulated a number of scenarios made up in your head while conveniently ignoring the one I specifically mentioned. You also reframed the scope of the discussion from point encounter mechanics to a broad campaign of anti-ganking so that you could (I guess?) offer a bragadocious “solution” (whatever strokes your ego, man. I don’t judge).

In any given encounter. I don’t believe you really are that obtuse, but just in case, I’ll use small words: In gunfight, ganker get to shoot first. That bad.

For every complex problem there is an answer that is clear, simple, and wrong.

:+1: I appreciate the straightforward feedback, and I agree, there would be issues to address with what I suggested. I don’t think they’re insurmountable, though. @Gerard_Amatin had a good response above so I’ll just +1 what he already said.

Sorry mate. miners don’t want your idea of suspect timer when safety is disabled. You can’t expect any help from them.

Okay?

You can embrace the other side and just Gank Miners. They don’t have any unity to defend Highsec.

Those of you who advocate for red safety in high-sec should bear in-mind that this ultimately limits the type of game play experience you can have. You could have a choice of red safety (only ganking ships) -or- something more comprehensive around a yellow safety.

I would’ve thought the idea of stealing, ransoming, hijacking, smuggling or otherwise committing various crimes (disrupting missions, mining, etc.) would have greater appeal than simply sitting around all day waiting for that 1:100 “blinged out” ship that you might be able to gank.

To be clear, I’m not advocating for the end of ganking to replace it with nothing. It would much rather see a wide and comprehensive list of activities that would either augment or replace it.

Currently there’s little if any incentives to be a “white knight”/escort and bounty-hunting or low-level mercenary work is practically non-existent.

And what’s the incentive of becoming an SG’s other that padding their killboards?

It’s not a good investment. All those efforts is just for HS PVP content. They need PVE alts to earn something but I’m hoping that there are no RMT going on.

I have a suspicion that the very last photon of energy in the entire universe, in 10^75 years, when all the black holes have long ago evaporated, will be used by someone whining about ganking.

A typo, A is right next to S

Try again

That makes more sense. The context was all wrong.

Thanks

Yes, and yes.
You get CONCORDed.
People do this.

I remember a moment when we were roaming and had a fight on a gate to HS. And one of us jumped the system to evade lossmail… and got CONCORDed. And only then we noticed that we are on the HS border.

Not telling the change related to safeties and suspect status is bad or not possible. We will see.

I wouldn’t say that about Ganking because I consider it Piracy and what’s a space game without piracy?

I would say it about Gate Camping though.
