Because those are not the rules of the game.
And?
That entitles you to exactly the same as everybody else that has money, nothing.
That is not my challenge, that is not your challenge ( you can only write endless post on forum ) …
It is challenge for ccp: how to attract me to give them my money ?
Why would they want to?
You clearly don’t like their product as evidenced by the fact that you want to change it.
They are broke and they need money.
Are they?
They posted record revenue in 2016, I haven’t seen the financial statements for 2017 but I suspect that they tell a different tale than the one you’re peddling.
Ouch. Not a very good university surely.
People who complain about political correctness are the ones who really want to be total assholes but are too cowardly.
*sips coffee*
Its not her fault for being attacked. But it is up to her to have a sense of self preservation and think about the possible outcomes of her actions.
Same as pilots here in this game. Same as me when I climbed trees with a chainsaw for a living.
Same goes for everybody. You are responsible for your own safety. In game. In real life. Its when you push this responsibility off on others or blindly trust your equipment and surroundings is when shite goes sideways something fierce.
Attitude.
Attitude is the key to playing this game.
When you say, “it can’t be done!” it won’t get done. When you say, “how do I get this done?” you become a problem solver, and you’ll find a way.
When you say, “the ganking has got out of hand!” as if something needs to be done about it, I ask, “what are you doing about it?”
Attitude. Children run and tell mummy and daddy that their siblings just knocked their sandcastle over. Adults don’t just build a new one, they’ll find their siblings, they’ll crush it, and make sure he’s driven from the sand completely.
Attitude. You’re playing a PVP game. You made an account on a PVP game. When you undock a ship, regardless of what kind of ship it is, you have already accepted the risk of doing so by virtue of undocking. You are playing a game in which your objectives will come into competition with somebody else’s, in one way or another, sooner or later, and when that happens, if you’re not prepared for that competition, then that is on you and you alone, not the game, because you already know (or should already know) what the game is.
I have been hauling, on my alt, from high to low and back again for years now, straight through the hottest ganking spots, and I always make it back and forth quite easily, usually hauling hundreds of millions, if not billions, without a problem. The only time I’ve been ganked was in lowsec itself by a guy who’d already tried three times, failed, then used a new strategy against me that I wasn’t ready for. All I lost, though, was a Hawk and its fit, and the hauler, all easily replaced.
And yeah, I’m buddy-buddy with some of CODE and other gankers these days, but wasn’t always. I have invited CODE to gank my alt, and even filled it with PLEX on one occasion and put the word out. Nothing. Nada. It’s not because they respect me, or like me, but it’s because they know they won’t catch me, and can’t stop me.
There are a very wide range of tactics and strategies to avoid being ganked, not the least of which is not going afk. The ganking isn’t getting out of hand, the bad attitude that fails to accept personal responsibility for one’s own asset safety is the problem. And since it’s a personal problem, it’s not a game problem.
Can we have victims ship skins and apparel?
You mean with bullseyes painted on them?
something like that, and HTFU skins too, i’d love a H.T.F.U. shirt.
Put 100bil in one and come through when I’m sitting there ready to gank that ship type
I’m fairly confident in my chances if it’s any ship that hasen’t got a covert cloak or insta warp
This
Like 1% of 1% of people going through pipes get ganked. Most of them do something dumb like fly a freighter through Uedama while a gank fleet is online or think nothing of the 1000 blackbirds sitting on gates shooting little beams at them and going on their merry way with 30 bil in them.
I use a variety of tanks on my hauling ships, not the least of which I dubbed the ‘idiot tank’. When I haul, I rely on idiots being around to be more palatable targets for gankers
So no?
The latest form of tanking, very popular by AG: brag-tanking.
You write big stories on the forum about carrying 100s of millions, up to a billion, in your ship - yawn - and then you never undock.
The solution is not to fly blingy ships solo and expect to survive a 10v1 fight.
Solution: Make Friends, Solo is Fail
Remiel ain’t daft, if he’s hauling a billion he’s not doing it in a shitfit hauler; knowing him whatever he uses is considerably quicker into warp and significantly harder to kill than 90% of the other haulers out there.
