EVE is not losing subscribers my dear. It is stable for over a year. It’s like every time you write something here it turns out to be completely and verifiably wrong. Must be your special super power.

Arguably CCP started to lose subscribers when they decided to cater to people outside of their proven player demographic.
When Eve was actually dangerous, as opposed to the pisspoor imitation of danger it has now, it verifiably had more active players.

If this claim is true, ccp can solve his problem in 5 minutes, just change conditions and make Eve dangerous again, problem solved !!!
But no ccp did not do that and ccp instead have to fire few hundred people including whole Eve customer support. Why ? Because that is not a solution for ccp low income, and ccp must do some other painful moves to save himself and Eve.
Yawn, yet again, no logic, no acknowledgement of reality, just Cartman statements about how what you want is more important than anything, more important than facts, growth, change, etc.

It’s not a claim, it is verifiable fact, any decline in numbers can be laid firmly at the door of CCP’s endeavours to further monetise Eve, starting in 2011 with microtransactions and thereafter continuing to dumb the game down to appeal to a more mainstream audience, while ignoring the fact that most of them will never play Eve because of its longstanding reputation of being a brutal no holds barred universe.
They can’t roll it back because the players that have left are very unlikely to come back, and players like you who cannot accept Eve for what it is, despite hiding in an NPC corp for most of the time since 2009, will leave.
We’re stuck with it now, all we can do is try to forestall any further shite decisions by CCP
