Ganking is a valid form of gameplay, just like PvP everywhere else in EVE Online, and it takes practice to get good at, more inside

CONCORD shoud also confiscate the piloting license of the ganked character for not paying attention and/or falling asleep at the wheel during traffic! 30 days only boarding shuttles and corvettes!

-_- no

This would make sense as in case of suicide ganking they are already involved and present at the crime scene thus it would make sense for them to disallow access to an illegally attacked capsuleer’s possessions as well.

Actually the confiscation would also make even more sense as a form of securing evidence of the crime.

reckless piloting

yes

yes and no, what if it was just not fast enough during alignment

Aiko is correct in this.

i am just saying that if that person was paying attention and not afk then they don’t lose a ‘license’ if they aren’t paying attention and/or they are afk, they do lose a license for a month or so

I’m not even sure that CONCORD arriving and confiscating all the dropped modules as ‘evidence’ of the crime disincentivizes ganking. It might for some gankers as the gameplay would not generate revenue except for the mining permits. Others will continue.

it takes practice to get good at… NOPE. ill list what it takes.

  1. Understand you can have any many OMEGA accounts as you like for FREE if you simply skill 10m SP and then sell back the injectors to the market.
  2. Good a good computer to multibox.
  3. Try out ICE BOXER software most likely.
  4. Now press F1 macros on your keyboard or just use ICE. Done.

Gankers… keep in mind I am not giving away all the locations and ships that make for real profit when you flame me now. I support ganking but lets be real. Its barely pvp. Like market PvP… not really. Its more than you are taking advantage of in game mechanics than actually fighting anyone.

Bold move to admit you break the EULA on the forums.

pffft no one did that. try to understand what im saying… not just reply some foolishness because you got offended.

My bad, you seemed to be suggesting input broadcasting.

the reason i make claims about input broadcasting is because I see it so often. You ever watch a fleet sit on gate then 20 of them jump at once? Not land and jump with hotkeys after FC broadcasts… be at zero already. You ever been in a fleet and one guy with 16 accounts fires all his guns at the same time? The reality is that a good player can fire 5 or 6 guns in the same server tick, not more. Any more and you are cheating.

Yes, although I think 20 is an exaggeration, and I’ve seen videos of nerds who are very quick with the alt-tab.

I have been in the fleets and left fights over this. Its not a guess. 5-6 is the number that real players who have flown together in the best groups that agreed. You tell me… how many guns can you fire on different ships in one server tick? Its 5-6 broski if you are super fast.

The 20 i spoke of was in nullsec going to a highsec gate near amarr… you want more details? nope. I watched them go to gate and watched it happen. This kind of thing is too common. It could have been a little more or less. 20 was my guess. All of them obviously owned by one person too. (bald default lol)

5-6, nah I reckon 8-10 easily and 12-15 with enough meds and training.

the best way I know of…

Eve O preview. Simply press the window and press a hotkey to fire. Im pretty sure no one can do better and actually be serious. thats 5-6 window presses and a hot key in one server tick. 100% legal and the best method anyone will write down if i had to guess.

The point being… you can learn a lot of a multiboxer by simply flying with them.

Are you saying that ganking is not real PvP?

:innocent:  :ccpguard:

Back in my day…

we used to run up to noobs and one shoot them in the face with a cannon before taking all their ■■■■.

I didnt call this PvP. Its called ganking. Its not a fight. Its a gank. Which means the other guy had zero chance to fight. I mean… thats why we use a different word for it.

The best I can do is agree that its a form of PvP. A form that involved the other guy prob not even knowing what happened.

Like, would you walk up to an elderly guy irl and knock him over then say yeah I got into a fight with this other man. nah bro… you pushed over an old dude. lol

Well of course the fleet all warps at the same time. Its called fleet warp. Its an option the FC has. It doesn’t take much skilling to get all alts to the same align time…and off they all go in unison.

And I’d love to know how you know that one guy is firing from all 16 chars at the same time. You are counting 16 lots of firing in one second ? How are you even having focus on 16 ships at the same time to an attention span of 1/16th of a second ?
