Ganking is a valid form of gameplay, just like PvP everywhere else in EVE Online, and it takes practice to get good at, more inside

bruh… stop replying to me. Its called fleet warp he says lol. Is that why im warping?

Do you even know what a server tick is bro? Are you even an Eve player? Do you fly a Drake?

I dont mind questions… but im not wasting my night answering dumb questions. Ask me something smart or interesting.

Hey…I responded to your BS with the actual facts. You are Superman or something that you can spot whether 16 ships all fire within one second ?? I call baloney on that claim.

Frankly I doubt whether half the people who make these ’ so-and-so was clearly input broadcasting…I saw them fire 16 times in one second ’ people could even read a car number plate at 60 feet.

bro… stop. I was in fleet with him. Stop talking to me plz. im trying to be nice but you annoy me.

Its a public forum…you don’t get to decide who responds.

I stand by what I said. It is pure nonsense to suggest you can actually see someone firing 16 chars all in one server click…as you said ’ and one guy with 16 accounts fires all his guns at the same time’. It’s nonsense to suggest you can focus on 16 different ships all within the same one second.

I’m not arguing that…I’m stating it as fact.

Do you know what this convo is about? Its about input broadcasting right? Do you know what that means? I feel like im talking to a wall… a short one. prob stubby too. Bro, for real. im not here to fix your confusion over simple things. i need to figure out how to block you tbh. Just trying to comprehend why you dont understand is hard enough but now you want me to fix it. Well ya cant fix stupid. Anyway… Cyberpunk is a better game atm. You must be a small angry man irl because every time i come to this forum you are speaking the same way to others in most of the threads i read. Why are you like this? Do you wear a helmet? IS that how you got this way? You didnt wear the helmet when you should have? I think you need to put a helmet on right now just to be safe.

Lol…what a load of sheer nonsense ad hominem evasion of the point I actually made. Tell you what, I’ll spare you the sheer agony of facing actual facts and honest debate and block you first. Bye.

It’s about ganking being a valid form of gameplay. Welcome to my thread! o/

With cheerful regards

I want to present my last idea.

CONCORD timer is gone, it’s now a percentage. 90% 'til 10% with fixed response timer. Makes things more interesting. It’s now ok to escape CONCORD.

Also criminals (capsule included) won’t walk so easily in HS, every criminal has the same chance to be detained for a period in gates and station dock (web and scramble) for “inspection”.

Chill, I’m just posting because it won’t happen, lol.

The core exercise here, although it’s crap, is to handle the responsibility more to the players and rely less on NPCs.

I’m actually down with this creativity. I still think CONCORD should confiscate and store all dropped modules or cargo from the ganked ship (maybe the ganking ships too) and allow the player to get their possessions back for a nominal fee.

You both talking in different directions.

@Distaine said he saw when ~20 ships waited at a gate (NOT coming out of warp, having pre-clicked the “jump” button during a fleetwarp). And if those all jump within one server tick that has nothing to do with Fleetwarps and I totally agree absolutely nobody can give ~20 commands on different clients within 1 second. Not even with multibox-viewer assistance. That is definitely input broadcasting.

Same goes for people having mining fleets of 15+ and all of them shutting down lasers and activating on a new roid at the exact same tick. You simply cannot do that manually.

What you can do is making a fleetwarp and pre-activating modules while in warp (even pre-overheating, like gankers do it) and then arranging your client windows in an overlapping way so you only see your target in overview and just Strg+click on each tab like clickclickclicklick - you can maybe get 6-7 chars to fire at the same tick this way.
I originally come from the StarCraft/Broodwar Scene which has some of the highest APM (Actions Per Minute) Players in the world, they do stuff on absolute elite world-class niveau, top 0.1% what is achievable - and even they are consistently well below 10 inputs per second even during spam-actions. If anyone tries to tell me he can give more than 10 commands on different clients within a single second in EVE online legally, I know he is lying.

instead of asset safety, cargo safety. 10% of the estimated cost

Distaine assumes that the fleet is waiting at ‘zero’. But if they are instead just outside the immediate jumping range then that does give time for all 20 to enter ‘jump’ and for it to appear that they all jumped much ‘at the same time’.

I think people over-inflate these stories. Did he really count all ‘20’ ships ? When I see Zlegion in Uedama its just ‘a lot of ships’…I’m not sitting there going ‘one, two, three…’ etc. Is anyone literally counting them ?

As for 16 ships all firing ‘at the same time’, I simply do not believe anyone can focus on 16 ships at the same time so as to spot all 16 firing within one second. In fact that applies to firing, mining, jumping, etc.

People see what they are predisposed to see. They’ll ignore that the ‘one second’ was actually three or four seconds. Probably the same people who think that sitting 50 feet behind a car on the motorway is obeying the ‘two seconds’ rule.

Lets agree that he “claims” it. I am sure a player can see very well if a fleet is at 0 on the gate or at 2500. We can’t know it, we weren’t there.

Oh thats pretty easy. Our brain is trained to see patterns and cracks in patterns. So there is no need to “count and focus”. It literally doesn’t matter if its 5, 16, 37 or 98 ships - IF they jump all at the same tick, we would instantly recognize that. And if they jump in 3, 4, 5, 6 waves of like a handful ships each, we would recognize that too, just natrually. Without being able to say how many did jump in each wave.

(@Syzygium thx man. I admire your way with words and wish I could have spoken as clearly but i am am prob a little on the spectrum. )

@Kuroda_Toshio The reality is that destroying loot during PvP acts as a direct punishment for engaging in combat. It is an intentional hindrance to the activity, functioning purely as a form of reward denial. This anti-PvP mentality should be rooted out along with other outdated design choices.

PvP should be rewarded, not punished. Loot drops should be 100%, and maybe also… the game should provide alternative credits and rewards to incentivize the very content that makes EVE better for everyone.

The entitlement of this anti -pvp forum junkie group is deff sus. Isnt it obvious that if you asked a bunch of people who got killed if they want their stuff back for free they would say yes? Why would CCP even entertain this? Lets ask a different question.

Would all the pvpers like to get 100% of the loot their broke ass sat on gate all day to get? Or do you want half of it to disappear in the wreck?
How would the pvpers like to get paid equally for work they put in?

No? Ok then lets make half of the asteroids disappear when the mining laser hits it.

Or maybe when we go to run an indi job, the factory fucks up some of your order… this is ridiculous no? At what point do you just admit that you are simply taking all measures to eliminate the playstyle because its simply in competition with your own chosen pve activity?
Do you know why there are so many anti pvp groups that lobby up to petition CCP to stop this and that? Its because they couldnt use the current game rules in game to win the fight previously. You cant let the factory floor workers decide when they get raises… this is why everyone hates the boss. But the Boss is the only reason you guys have jobs. Boss-up CCP.

On the subject of input broadcasting and cheating… Sometimes when you know what to look for it becomes the proof you need to say its 100% a cheat. Ill give you an example… lets say you are looting a core from a cit you just blew up. How fast can you pick this up? I can do it in 3 clicks if i recal by stacking the windows ahead of time and being in position. (havt done it in a while tbh) So if you have one person who follows around your corp to steal this core everywhere you go… you get to see the same person using a script which isolates the exact core and picks it up on 1 click. Thats called cheating.

Thats called cheating. The reason you can see it on your client is because to do it legally you have to press the LOOT ALL button and have space. If you use a cheat script… it isolates just the core so you can literally see the core go away and not the other loot of you have wreck open when it happens. You wouldnt know any of this if you dont engage in cit poppin and loot taking.

Its just a mechanical fact that you cannot click and drag the core faster than you can press Loot All.

please remove that disgusting meme

What do you find disgusting in it?

isn’t that obvious? look at what the cop says that is, that is disgusting!

The CONCORD officer just states the obvious. Lots of capsuleers buy such companions and carry them around aboard their ships:

Funfact: they are listed under the livestock item category. :face_with_hand_over_mouth:

This is completely normal part of EVE Online.

Welcome to EVE!
