My alliance is called Safety.
That is a ridiculously cute photo!
This is a horrible picture. I hope you are happy with yourself.
Thanks. That will go on my list. Looks awesome.
It’s in Wales…..right next to Snowdon. About 1500 feet long…2000 foot drop on both sides. This should be the NPE for EVE.
Fun part about that kill mail… ORE Reinforced Bulkheads were in his Cargo Bay… if he fitted them that would be another 400k extra eHP
LOL, this is even more funny.
You don’t have to. If you protect your ships with caution, you’ll never get blown up in the first place. At least not by a T1 destroyer ![]()
It’s generally not just a single T1 destroyer people die to. Not unless they’re in a T1 hauler with 6+ expanded cargo holds in the low slots.
So? Tank bigger. Are all your shield skills level 5? Are all of your armor skills level 5? Are you flying a crappy faction freighter or something so tanked out that it’s able to survive a trip through a black hole?
And if you want to haul, you can do so in a Deluge. Properly fit, they can warp while cloaked, travel at blazing speeds, and warp faster than most other ships out there.
I don’t understand why people fly faction haulers and freighters and then complain about being destroyed.
I’ve never been ganked.
You’re the one to learn from.
The biggest mistake I often see haulers make is that of mixing loads of small and large objects all in one haul. Really, you only need a huge bulk capacity hauler for stuff with huge bulk. I’ve seen cases where half the value of the haul would have fit into a Praxis….which one can make fast align and over 200K EHP. Back during the height of me moving small expensive items around….I used an Eagle that could get to 450K EHP with ADC and inertial stabilisers. Practically invincible….you’d need 40 or more gank ships for that. These days I more often use a cloaked Tengu. The great thing about a covops Tengu is that it docks instantly upon decloaking at an insta dock bookmark.
If I’m hauling heavy, I’ll use an Avalanche or Orca. Slow to align, but nothing is going to crack through those shields!
In my opinion, you just can’t find a safer way to haul in High Sec!
I would say how I’m moving expensive and very light things on ships which can be blown by a single thrasher… but this is too obvious… treat highsec as lowsec or nullsec (but without bubbles).
In High Sec, you can avoid detection or survive the Concord timer.
If you’re not trying to do at least one of those, you’re doing it wrong.
Avoiding detection: use a ship that can warp while cloaked or has an align time of under 2 seconds. Make sure it can warp really fast so that no one can beat you to the next gate (11 AU/s or more). If you do get caught, a warp stab and a top speed of 4,000 m/s is pretty sweet!
Surviving the Concord timer:
800,000 EHP with a shield booster in case they use a breacher pod. Train Thermodynamics to 5. Train shield and armor skills to 5. Or don’t even bother undocking.
Highsec mining is NOT a risk.

END OF DISCUSSION.
Concord should chain you to a Veldspar and forcibly set your training skills to mining.
BTW, just faced on youtube shorts: https://youtube.com/shorts/k7vKmscqwn8?si=NZvn4gvjq4Q6-TfS
Looks like this is too common mistake to fit 3 cargo extenders on JF and fly around highsec on relax. Or maybe someone doesn’t care about their JF and want to see gank in action, but for me it is a too pricy way to summon gankers.
