Ganking, or rather the Right to Gank

No it isnt.

A passive act is always easier than an active one.

That doesn’t stop us now, it just wastes 15 minutes of our time.

:rofl::rofl::rofl:

It is far easier to ag than gank, you just want to stop 40 character fleets with 1 or 2

I think as a capsuleer that docking in NPC stations is a basic human right. I know for sure that Australian has a wife and children stationed at Jita IV - Caldari Business Tribunal Information Center. I hear he also has quite a few mistresses scattered throughout NPC stations in New Eden. Are you going to deprive this man the pleasure of seeing his family between his bouts of criminal activity? It’s 2018 dude, get a grip.

Gankers are ganking on top of Concord at gates all the time. The change would have minimal effect as gankers would just have to slightly adapt.

Counterpoints to your “gankers are bad” flat statements are hardly attacks.

Im not in CODE and Ive not ever ganked anyone that Im aware of.

But I have no sympathy for people who make RL threats or use racist or inflammatory language.

Then we again have to agree to disagree.

I have no problem with them getting what they deserve.

Likewise Ive not seen an attack, except you lumping anyone youd like to argue with into “gankers” or “nice people”. Which tbh looks more like you wanting to wind people up yourself.

What people? What does this mean?

At the end of the day if you have a point and its not “people who shoot other peoples spaceships are bad”, can you make it clear? Im apparenty mentally handicapped (according to one of those stand up citizens you like so much) and dont seem to follow this line of discussion well.

My alt indys have been working in high sec for years and havent been successfully ganked once, but I guess thats down to reasons other than me making sure they arent idiots?

Just above aimed at Lucas.

Fair enough. Do you feel I should change my point of view based on that?

You are better at the game than I am, thats without question, but why is it you support those who want the threat and thrill removed and I support the others?

I genuinely want to know.

It’s funny how the people who sit in the belts all day pressing F1 every 45min or set destination and activate AP for 2h think the gameplay of other people should be nerfed because it is “too easy”.

I agree with Lucas having been subject to this type of abuse for many years on the forums.

I don’t, my posting history speaks for itself, what I actually said that is, not what people think or say that I said.

Im basing my question on that.
I would like a genuine answer, but if you dont want to give one to either question then Im sorry that my english isnt up to it.

Both you and Lucas have complained no one wants a serious sensible discussion about it but I keep trying to have one.

But thats my point. What I do isnt hard. If people stopped complaining about being hit and learned how not to be hit, then what would gameplay be like?

Why defend those unwilling to play and blame those culling the weak?

Also crying on the forums a lot without any real arguments or evidence apparently.

I am not trying to be an arse, if you take a core element of freighter ganking, the bump to hold the target, let us compare to the excellent ganking of JF,'s which is very well done and more of a challenge, I want all freighter ganks to be like that. Catching them at a gate. I think that the bumping part makes it too easy and predictable and the only counter is to gank the Macherial. Yet I get told it will destroy ganking when the gankers are doing exactly the game play on JF’s what I want to see happen with all freighters and stuff.

The idea about removing docking rights from NPC stations for -10’s gives a real value to going after their staging points, it is something that I have pushed for ever since the new structures appeared.

My accusation was based on the suppprt of certain comments, and not on a post made, and so perhas I withdraw that accusation.
You and Lucas both seem to be saying its not the act of the attack but perhaps its methods in some cases or the meta surrounding it in others yes?

I think this is sonetimes unclear because everyone seems to like to say “such and such people” without talking to those who actually want to understand.

Yes, ganking is part of the game, always been understood by me, but I think some elements are too easy and need adjustment.

If you want to have an actual discussion about ganking why don’t you start by actually providing some arguments about what you want to change and what your evidence is that there is actually a problem. So far I have seen nothing from you other than walls of tears about how mean gankers are and how they don’t want to discuss the things you avoid talking about.

Im not sure as a solo I have a goid grasp on easy or hard (most things seem harder these days) but I think more things need to be fun.
